AquaBiomics sells “live reef sand” from the ocean, cultured in fish-free tanks to avoid parasites. They even send paperwork detailing the DNA sequencing telling you exactly what is in it.
I vote for the interracial clown fish couple
Loving this wee series so far👍
I can’t wait for this to go bang ….. I’m excited for u mate 💙
Awesome~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
Nice selection of fish you can put into the new build. Looking forward to watching it come together. 👍
Great vid, looking forward to the journey
I’d go with a couple of damsels if I was you Ryan! Love the set up and cant wait to see the angel in there
Are you putting the coral on the tip and only the tip🤣
I like the rock work
You should have two torch heads right at the base of the stick… would look great 😊
For some reason i thought the farm was in the basement. lol
I'd go with the damsels
Chrysiptera damselfishes are some of the must have in my well...2 tanks. They just add so much movement and color when they dart in and out of the coral and rockwork
Many of the nicest mature tanks I have seen have a boring aquascape hidden underneath large coral colonies. I don't buy into premise that an elaborate rock structure is better. It certainly may be more visually appealing for the first year, but the only beneficiary after that is the company selling the rocks, glue, cement, and now, rock dust used to bind it all together... 🙄
Na dude I'm digging your rock scape. When the corals are in its gonna look awesome!
Those Damn Clamselfish!
Late to the game but catching up. Why did the copperband have those big white spots??
I think you should go to your LFS and get a Clown Tang for your new tank.
No way I’d ever put one of these bastards with a collection of angels and butterflies. Not sure about Ryan, but I wouldn’t.
I have a reef tank and a fowlr, most of the fish in my fowlr are peaceful, I got a metallic foxface, teardrop butterfly, Heniochus A, two pink clowns, and a royal gramma, they all get along very well no aggression. And in my reef tank I got 4 blue/green chromis, 1 yellow tail damsel, potters angel, flame angel, aptasia filefish, percula clownfish pair, and a yellow tang, they all get along pretty well also. 😂 I am wanting to move the yellow tang to my 210g fowlr tho and maybe substitute a smaller tang in the reef? Any suggestions with small tangs?
Tomini Square Tail White Tail Blue Eyed Bristletooth Kole (if you can get one from a tank breakdown)
You have a great selection of fish though. Any issues getting the butterflies to feed?
the rock is low.. but plz enjoy mine is too lol
I would start with the less aggressive and / or smaller fish before any of the Tangs, I’m not sure about the Anthias because I’m more of a fan of the larger, pair forming / solitary ones rather than most Pseudanthias. I see you have a Yellowtail Damsel and one (maybe more) Springer’s Damsels. They could be fine IMO. The Clownfish would also be fine. I’d hate to see any of the angels get harassed or outright killed by any Tangs you put in, so save the Tangs for last IMO. I’d also get the Copperband in fairly early.
Interacial clownfish should be the first
😂😂😂 well said 👏
I love the dickscape 👍
😂😂😂
Think the black clownfish should go in 1st
No way maroon clown if you have sand, used to have which was nails and a complete bast…..it would swim against the sand and move it everywhere. Just got back from Egypt and Sohals at a foot long something to behold, once you have algae Sohal and purple would look sweet. I have a shoal of leopard wrasse in my 6ft, obvs needs to be more mature but look amazing with some tamarind, but when a mail changes they are bastar….but get away with it on a 6ft. Probably clowns to start for me - NOT MAROON 😅
You might want to censor that part where you show the royal mail we missed you note mate... It says your postcode on it and you might not want people knowing that! Although then again you might not care!
He has his postcode on the website for people that want to collect corals in person or visit the farm
@@Richs_reef yeah fair enough then
@@maxrackstraw nice of you to point it out for Ryan though in case he didnt want people to know 👍🏻
@@Richs_reef yeah i wouldn't him to get any trouble over it...
The postcode on it is the post code of the local post office
Why would you start a tank with old dirty rock ?
You’ll see…. There is a reason for it… 15 years experience tells me it will be different to other rock tanks
Because live rock from the good old days was nothing more than dirty old rock. And it created the best tanks.
adding water to a giant pile of salt is asking for percipitation.
🤭
I thought the penis rock looked like a sword in the stone.
