I agree 100% with letting the fish pick her some fish. I have a glass cages 300 and my wife picked a coral beauty and 5 anthias. ❤
Sizing the water storage container to take a full bag of salt is genius level lazy, I love it
Such a good point about involving spouses in the hobby, also true of kids! Let them pick a coral/fish/invert so they are invested in your hobby too!
Zebrasomas!
I was ready to be blown away by the dramatic reveal of two black tangs to complete your 7/7 collection for the new tank
Fish are looking fantastic. Excited for when the Kingii goes in. Adding the first non-test corals is going to be a great video too. Can't wait!
Enjoying the process
Another great video Ryan! It's going to look awesome with those tangs in there.
Beautiful i love Angelfish (and Tangs_)
Awesome~👍
Thank you for sharing this video~🤗
My future prediction is that this tank will easily rival Alex’s SPS tank and I can already hear the banter on the livestreams.
The fish selection is epic in this tank. Super interested to see how the coral do in this environment. What is your feeding protocol for all the angels?
Starki is my favourite of the bunch 😂
that rock is like the millennium falcon🤣
By the way, when you said subspecies that refers to them being the same species but separated by one or two minor genetic differences whilst these guys are all different species but of the same genus.
Hope this helps, I’m not trying to attack you but more as a bit of help :)
I could be wrong, but I think your goldflake angel isn't a pure goldflake. It looks more like a goldflake flagfin hybrid. If the eye spot is almost gone, shouldn't the dorsal, tail, and anal fin be all black by now? Also, the "goldflakes" are not as distinct as you would expect in a goldflake angel, even for a younger fish. I have one in a similar stage of development, but it has more distinct features of the goldflake angel. Hopefully, I'm wrong, and yours is still developing its adult color.
Magnificent foxface
Lazy you are not! Cutting down on maintenance time is smart.
Have seen a few time on your videos those aclimation boxes, may you suggest any brands to look for, I do not know none that sells them?
Whats the dimensions of the tank?
Are you sure water butts for collecting rain water are ok to use? I looked into using them for a mixing station a few years ago and was told that this type of plastic wasn't suitable as it can leech and that anything used for mixing needed to be 'food safe' standard?
They just look like them, they are the same containers for the coral room
Rabbitfish?
Ryan, when will you learn that fish are much smarter than you give them credit to be!
Anyway when are you going to add the kingii angel, it's been a month, and he was the first fish you got!
Must be a tang. 1 being a yellow tang surely
You add fish first, then stock full of cleanup crew to fight the danios. I dont add fish or clean-up crew until my rockwork is covered in them.
We are not the same 😂
I think tis a rabbitfish
Damn
Girlfriend ?…Mindy?
