And sometimes the poetry is in the music itself. No one is saying rap and spoken poetry are bad or lesser- just that all art has a time and place to be its best. Sometimes crossing the lines breeds beautiful work, but sometimes it's nice to appreciate the dichotomy and uniqueness of each form in and of itself. Not every song would work well with electric guitar, not every poem needs to rhyme, and not every instrumental track needs a rap over it. Sometimes things are better left as they are.
