Can you create Macro commands with it? For example, you have to hit down, down, down, enter within my UA-camTV app to go to Last channel. Could I program that same sequence to a button on the remote?

Slumdog it’s not on the site. I checked online and when I was in the store. I mean, it could be possible that some stores have them in stock but I would check online at your local bestbuy otherwise keep an eye out on Amazon but I feel like this is the kind of thing that won’t launch for another 1.5 to 3 months.
I'd wouldn't go out of my way for this remote. Might as well get a good 3rd party option like a mini handheld keyboard or something.

How I disable the voice assistant button on the remote? I have button mapper but it doesn't seem to be able to disable the microphone button on the Shield remote.

When I try to remap my youtube button to youtube TV all it does it bring up the UA-cam app? Any suggestions. It's like it wont let me remap it?

How do you remap the voice assistant microphone icon on the remote? I accidently touch it all the time and it's annoying. I tried the Button Mapper and Button Remapper app, none of them were able to do it.

FYI: for some this may disable volume up and down button holding for fast up and down vol control. I have to tap the volume buttons super fast now late at night when loud scenes come up, neighbors, and it’s nowhere near as fast when I could just hold the buttons down. I have my shield remote controlling my Logitech z906 5.1’s. Just going to get used to avoiding the Netflix button until Nvidia allows us to disable or remap the Netflix button. However, if you or anyone knows a setting fix or other app that doesn’t effect volume like that then please let us know!

Triple M NoProb. Figure others may encounter this problem if they try the button mapper app if they are using their 2019 shield remote to control AV amplifiers as well.
@@MstrB0ss Same issue here. Cancelled Netflix and have no use for the annoying button (I tend to press it a lot by mistake), but no easy volume control is a deal breaker :(
Mikael Hansen I guess we need to beg Nvidia to add a find my remote button to their shield remote app for Android/iOS as well as a disable option for Netflix button, possibly even remapping options like they have us for the option button on the top right of the remote.

The most annoying thing about this remote is the fact that the slightest touch of that Netflix button opens Netflix!! You then have to Force stop it or log in and then hit Exit. When you set NO Action on the single tap, it still follows firmware and opens a app. If you set to do nothing, it doesn't work.
Is it worth the upgrade if you already own a shield?
Actually no worth to upgrade I have 2017 and 2019 pro just little speed no worth for me but the new remote control so Cool

For some reason when I tap back in plex it still launches netflix
It still opens up Netflix in the background
Go into Button Mapper troubleshooting settings and turn on "Alternate button handling". That should fix it.
