- Continuing the series on Larry Scott's bodybuilding secrets is a video on developing that rare maginificent lower lat. Here I describe the methods used by Larry and the reasoning behind these movements....a comon factor was the FULL RANGE OF MOTION, this really is the key to developing that full length of the lat, and hitting the lower section. I had to use photos of Franco in this video.....I mean Damn you Franco!! No wonder Franco Columbu was called The Bat, he had one of the best lower lat developments during the golden era...the guy had no waist for Gods sake, just lats and legs!! Enjoy
Franco Columbo was one of a kind especially when it came to Lat development
A terrific instructional video with excellent advice. Who else gives such valuable information.
Steven Serial wow, thank you, it was my pleasure!
I read an article about him and Lou Degni. Scott said to start dangling, then pull yourself up as high as you can without bending your arms. Ive been doing it and it really helps target the lats
It's october, 2023 and I'm obsessed with your videos
Wow, I just stumbled upon your channel for the first time! Seems you like you're doing really valuable work and know what you're talking about, thanks very much for making and sharing your videos! :)
Great content, thanks! One of the best videos on bodybuilding I have ever seen😄
Excelent, thanks!
The bat! 😍😍😍😍what an awesome video and topic!
The shot with Franco’s back, you can see his thumbs pulling in the side to give it more of the V shape. Overall, Franco was amazing and I follow his routine
Plz make a video on straddled one arm lat pull exercise for lats development as in today's date no one even talks about this exercise
No way Franco's lower lats take away from his abs Lower lats should flare more to the sides NOT HANG DOWN this gives the waist a smaller look Dude
Super information. Im always finding about this lower lat science and this is most informative video i found in youtube. If you can please tell me about the book you mentioned which had his workouts
Thank you
Always a privilege, thank you for this video.😎
Try pull-up rows (similar to inverted row, but no foot support)...
Very good Thanks 💪🇬🇧💪
Welcome
"hanging scapular rotations" are just front levers (without a hollow body position)
thats franco at his best for sure... he was around 30 i think...
You make very nice authentic content, just plz make sure to rehearse a little before recording video for more smooth flow of video
Larry was not genetically gifted which makes what he accomplished with his body so amazing.
No thickness exercise then how he get the thickness
Punit Sharma not sure but well pointed out. Remember, these tips are about bringing out the lower lat, not necessarily about thickening the back
Punit Sharma I also don't think there is such thing as a thickening exercise for the back. Muscles don't grow in this fashion. The latissimus is a muscle like any other, when it grows, it's volume increases and this translates to both width and thickness of the back. However, the lats do make the back appear wide as this muscle does add flare to the back. The electors traps and rhomboids sitting higher make the back appear thick, and yes using different exercises will develop the muscles of the back. Any kind of chin or row will hit these muscles and more...arms and forearms too, even the abdominals and chest are hit as these muscles stabilize...Muscles work in groups remember
Steroids add thickness, mass and fullness unachievable naturally.
Punit Sharma seated rows add thickness.
@@italiancapo7 lmao so apparently nobody can acheive a muscular physique according to what you said.
muscle tie-ins are genetic.
What's funny is Larry scott had weak lats
Are you kidding? Did you see any of the photos in the video
Larry did not have a tremendously wide back Franco on the other hand did.
genetic, no more!
