Bulgur noodles pilaf with steamed chicken __ رشته پلو با مرغ __ Reshte Polo Ba Morgh

Have you ever tasted noodles with rice pilaf and meat or without meat?
“Reshte Polo” is one of the most authentic Iranian dishes with a very historical background. “Reshte Polo” is one of the delicious and traditional Iranian dishes that is made with bulgur noodles and has become very popular nowadays. This dish is famous in many regions of Iran and is known as a traditional and popular dish.
Nowadays, “Reshte Polo” are mixed with various seasonings such as herbs and grated onion and even small meatballs to make it even tastier.
Depending on personal taste or the food culture of different regions, “Reshte Polo” is made without meat, with chicken, with minced meat and meatballs.
My recipe is about “Noodle Pilaf with steamed chicken”.
Ingredients:
For “Reshte Polo”:
400 grams of bulgur noodles
3 cups of rice
Pilaf Raisins, as desired
Dates, as desired
Cumin, as desired
Salt, as desired
For chicken:
4 pieces chicken thigh or breast
1 large onion
50 grams of butter
3 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 pieces of cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
Brewed saffron to your liking
Turmeric, black pepper and salt as desired
