thank u for watching! cinema grades is harder underwater i find, i think the best bet is to shoot in flat profile so u have more flexibility, hope i answered the question and lemme know if u have other question!
Thanks for watching! i personally havent graded on a phone before so might not be the best advice but ive hear adobe premiere rush has some colour presets and stuff u can try out. If u can get a hand on a pc itd definitely be easier though!
thank u! at varying depths wouldnt recommend them that much, i feel like at shallower depths the filters makes the footage look unnatural. Then again i havent tested out that many filters so just my 2 cents :)
@@RyutaOgwell your stuff looks amazing!! I use DaVinci Resolve and I've watched a lot of "how to" videos and yours are incredible!! I'll be following your advice and you have a new subscriber. Keep up the good work 🤙🏼
Awesome Video! Thanks for laying it out so simply. Quick Question about exporting the final product out of Davinci. I noticed that it's in drp format is there a way of changing this? Also is there a quick way to copy and paste adjustments onto different clips that were taken on the same day? Thanks for your help!
thanks for the comment! In the export/deliver screen u should be able to select format on the dropdown menu on the left hand side of the screen, i usually export in mp4 or quicktime! and yes u can! go to the colour tab and click on the clips on the top right so that u can see all of ur clips. click on the clip u want to copy the adjustements from, press ctrl c. Now click on the clip that u want to paste the adjustements onto and press ctrl v. Hopefully that makes sense :)
Broooo. I’ve been filming GoPro in the water since GoPro 1 but was far too intimidated to learn to edit. You’re amazing for doing this. I just downloaded resolve 16 and am practicing what you taught us. It works wonderfully when the video is a constant depth But I what can I do for when I free dive and change depths ?
thanks man! best of luck with the colour grading. So with the changing depths its kinda difficult cos the amount of light and colour is constantly changing. One way you can kinda do it is cutting the video up into seperate sections and grading each part slightly differently. u can chop up the clips using the blade too or ctrl B!
Goddamn!! This is amazing! THe best video on colour gradding i've seen, so simple!
Thanks and welcome :)

Great video! What mobile apps are there for color grading that you’d recommend? I’m just starting out with editing from my iPhone 11 Max Pro. Thanks

Fantastic video!! What are your thoughts about filters on the gopro? I'm mostly diving, so I could be at varying depths. Thanks 🤙🏼
