FWIW, a bookworm is also an actual worm, of sorts. It's actually the term used for various types of incect larve that damage books by eating the paper, often tunneling from cover to cover as they go, leaving swiss cheese-like holes in the pages.
Yup! Another fun fact: the plant Rue was often used in ancient China in order to ward off these bookworms. Since bookworms typically detest the smell of Rue Source : My grandparents’ book collection from when I was young. Some of the books even had faint aromas to them. It smelled nice
You have been quite the PRO this month in Connections, Art. I was perfect in Connections, but did not get the typical KW or FORWARD RAINBOWS like some of you. Without getting into particulars, I was fine in Wordle and Strands. I have been doing well in my personal life and my comments/replies in these sites have been less frequent. Wishing all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I am so happy to see that you BROKE your New Year's Resolution (not visiting these sites any longer). This is one resolution, Chazz, that you are welcome to break on a daily basis!
I am hopefully tapering off with the comments at this point, Art. Seems to be "the boy who cried wolf" with me. Visiting these sites has not been the issue. You and others have been very nice welcoming me back. Also, I am not looking forward to this frigid weather coming tomorrow. 😂
I agree, super straight forward. Very much a contrast to yesterday where I made 3 errors before I found my first category (and yet I managed to solve it). Today was easy, finding these in purple , yellow, green and light blue order for a perfect solve. One of my fastest solves.

@@RisetotheEquation I’ll look out for that Art! I suspect I know what you’ll be talking about and I’m interested in your take. 😊

Now, you see, I did not know that. Very interesting, indeed.

💯 Good Job!
I think the only trouble spot with today's connections is, if you accidentally read RESERVE as REVERSE which is what I almost did.
Well… about that 😂😂😂
I ACTUALLY did
Cost me two mistakes until I realized what I did😅😅😅
