16:45 “We are Pastors” She said. No we aren’t ma’am. Not if you obey the Word as a woman. You are forbidden to be a Pastor.
I detected from the very beginning of this video, a general sense that she’s leaning the feminist direction. From how she first tried to explain away women who identified as stay at home mothers, or homemakers, as if it’s some archaic perspective from 80 years ago. She wanted to unassociate from those terms. And then as she went on to talk about their ministry, over and over again the focus is on “professional women” and “working women”.
But where are the stay at home mothers and wives? You know the ones that take the Bible more seriously, and actually do raise their own kids, and actually do cook and keep home… like the scriptures say, that a woman is to be a keeper of home foremost! She doesn’t talk about them. And I wondered why. I wondered why she was speaking that way. Because I’ve never heard of this group/ministry, so I had no preconceived ideas of what it was about.
But she told me all I need to know right here. It’s about “helping women live extraordinary lives”. Aka living an ordinary life isn’t good enough… and you need to do more. You NEED to be extraordinary. Otherwise what? You’re a bad Christian? You’re failing? You’re not doing enough as a woman? That’s what I’m hearing.
The women need to come home. The men need to provide adequate income. And the women need to raise their children within those means. Not this. There’s nothing “extraordinary” about bunting your kids to daycare, because you want to be able to lease a new car, and have the clothes you lust for, and idolize. What’s extraordinary, is laying down your life as a woman, to serve your family selflessly, then actually finding God blessing that tremendously, and you feeling so very grateful for His Grace, on your very ordinary life. Obeying God as a woman is extraordinary. And she comes across like a big corporate talking head, that’s completely out of touch with Biblical Christianity.

    Well this is a shame.
