When we cry and search God from our heart eagerly and constantly He sends us our guru to guide us in the path .With humble heart and strong faith when we align our desire according to the desire of guru we can achieve our goal easily. This indicates the complete surrender to God and guru. Swamiji explains here very nicely.

There are six conditions of surrender: 1. To desire in accordance with the desire of our Guru. 2. Not to desire against the desire of the Guru. 3. Have firm faith that God is protecting me. 4. Feel grateful for the graces received. 5. To think all I have belongs to God, and 6. To be free from ego. To know about our level of surrender, we have to introspect within to find where we stand against these ideals. Now we are not fully surrendered, there is still a big gap between what we are and what we should be . Becoming aware of our deficiencies, we should not feel dejected. The gap should be intolerable for us to ignite our yearning for more and more sadhana.
Please tell me how surrender works in disease like cancer. There is so much fear, anxiety, too many medical procedures , pain, money , support system involved in this.
How to surrender ?
Please make my actions in line with the knowledge. The gap how we want to be should be intolerable.

How to know who is my Guru? My mom? My dad? My boss? Or I have to find an actual spiritual Guru?
Guru means 'Spiritual Master' - one who has got the theoretical knowledge of Vedic scriptures and has attained God-realization.

Surrender is mentioned in Gita but there's no Free Will mentioned to be with human being. If it's there pls help with a relative shlok in Gita which describes Free Will 🙏 JSK 😊
