I enjoy Davidoff Horizon for work and Cool Water for Summer Vacation/Beach. I also remember it being super popular in High School. There is NO Davidoff fragrance for Men that I dislike. Good review.
Very nice review. As always, decent without any hype. I liked that you stuck to the notes you catch, and the expereince of it.. (I have come across folks claiming to be able to recognise every listed note.).
Dior Sauvage Parfum + Moschino Forever Sailing = Cool Water Parfum!!! I can bet on this, how ever this one is great compliment getter with solid Longevity and projection. This will get the job done in fraction of price, simply get it without thinking
I've worn cool water since the mid 90's and still love it. Can't wait to try this one. I had a look at the Intense version and sorry to say I wasn't a fan of it. Thanks for the review.
I own Cool Water Aqua man.And it’s very nice modern take on OG, but performance is very weak. I use it only as after shower spray that lasts about 30 min.
Greatly appreciate your feedback on this one! I enjoy the “blue scents” so this will be on my list future purchases. I agree that Davidoff need to recapture the original DNA of Cool Water. The Intense was their Edp version which was too sweet for me. Keep up the excellent videos! 👍🏾
The original Cool water was the first fragrance I bought when I was on my early teen in 1997. Eventually when I grew up I discover GIT from Creed and it just hit me up with that smell that remained me of my JR High.
I’m kinda burnt out on fragrances that smells like Sauvage, and especially Aventus. I usually skip over them as a already have several of those types of frags. I was hoping David Davidoff would come out with a flanker of Cool Water with the same dna, just updated. But so far the 2 flankers smell nothing like Cool Water.
Great review man! I did a review of this not long ago and I have to admit it's great for the price over here in Australia! (AUD$40) I do quite like the Sauvage vibes with this one, it's a nice and easy wearing Summer frag! My favourite go to warmer weather frag lately has been one I discovered and reviewed a few months ago and even though it's not a new release, definitely worth mentioning and that's Juliette Has A Gun Vanilla Vibes!
Great review. 👍I bought it and totally agree with you and for around 30$ it is perfect but for me I is even more similar to a mixture between Dior Sauvage EDT60%+ Invictus25%+ Dylan blue15% So I added in my perfume collection review ,so I got now hot water, cool water EDT, EDP intense and cool water perfume
It's like Carlos is sitting next to you which is fitting. He will always be with you Steven. Hope you are doing ok? Great review again..sending warm wishes and strength from Australia
I've reached the point in my fragrance 'journey' where I just can't care about these blue type fragrances anymore... I'm gonna pass on this one, but if it reaches the price of the original coolwater i might get it just to spray around my room or something
I never like cool water from day one (but I've never smelled GIT by Creed, with all the hype and cult following! So I don't know if I would like it or not). On the contrary, I love the COOL WATER INTENSE from the first sniff. So I'm really looking forward to the Cool Water Parfum version. Steven from what you said, I think I will love it. Thank you for bringing it up to our attention. 👍
The first time I smelled this, I said the same thing you did. I was a little shocked that it smelled nothing like the original. The fragrance it reminded me of was Polo Deep Blue. I put one on each arm and it smelled so similar, I almost forgot which arm was which.
How similar would you say it is to the original cool water? I think much like acqua di gio we want a Parfum version that smells just like the pre reformulations, not a tweaked version of the original.
It smells nothing like the original at all. I was hoping for that but I still love the scent. It is similar to Versace Dylan Blue. In my country New Zealand Coolwater Parfum is only 34 dollars well worth the price.
Almost got it today at Marshall's but wasn't sure. Think I'll go back tomorrow and see if it is still there. Also never had sauvage or anything like it.
The EDP you're thinking of is the Intense version I believe, which is an EDP, and which others have also said is similar to Sauvage. I really want to check this one out, once it hits discounters I bet it's gonna be a hot buy.
Such a precise and good review... Great job and well done... i have liked and clicked the subscribe button... im using the Coolwater for women, its a beautiful scent.... but still it is not as good as when it was first launched...i don’t find the male version of Cool Water exceptional special like Guy Laroche Drakkar Noir..Or Chanel Pour Monseur
Hi Steven - I picked this up a couple weeks back... While it isn’t anything overly original, I really enjoy it. I was thinking a Sauvage and Versace PH (or something akin to it) blend. Smells great... Has a touch of something formal as it dries down. Assume the Vetiver and Sandalwood combo. Makes it a hair more “mature”... But still very very easy to wear. Hope you and the fam are well.. Great review...
I wonder why they just didn’t make a stronger longer lasting version of the original??? The original CW was the first fragrance I wore, starting in high school in the mid 90’s. Maybe just adding ambroxin to the original formula would’ve done it...
@@rpatrickpm4097 How many sprays are you going with so far? I mean these days with most fragrances at least when you are going out or want it to have consistent powerful performance under more extreme conditions (i.e clubs where thousands of people wear different scents, the later heat and dancing close to each other skin on skin and making out with some chicks rubs away the scent) I would always go at least with 8 sprays depending on the fragrance, maybe less maybe more... When a girl loves a scent, she doesn't give a f* if you "oversprayed" they can't get enough of you (your smell). Except Oud that is just overkill anyways 😂

The EDT would not smell as strong after an hour. The Parfum must be stronger than the EDP. So maybe it last longer? I think. Thats all that matters for me.
Definitely without any questions the cool water parfum. I had the intense but i send it back I mixed both fragrances in the store and ordered the wrong one. The intense does really not smell good to me but I would rate to test both in a store and then choose your favoured one.
