Yall be sure to check out the end of the video for some shop shenanigans........it's worth it!!
Always go for the lighter set up, vs looks
@@Sean-i4r😢
Done!
Stay off the dirtbike! No good can come of it, I think you already know.
Someone needs to tell John Conner that He's got a Tavarish "Porno tash" 😂😂
Dang, now I want a dirt bike! Go KSR!
Yeah... I agree with your youngest.... Keep the girls out of the videos! This is about you and your shop. Ask Matt Demo about his experiences. There are some really twisted people out there.
Yep! Agreed!
What Pickle said
Agree 100%...
To Me it's "common sense"
But I Work for a living......Not a UA-camr.
But I suppose there 2 ways of looking at it.......
1) Family friendly channel
2) Nobody under 16 should be on UA-cam.....That's what UA-cam Kids is for = Google Pays Children!!!
I agree 100% I have eight daughters and if I did UA-cam videos I guarantee you I would not put them in the videos
Personally, I don't find the details boring. Truth is, I can't get enough!!! Thanks for sharing
Awesome, thank you!
Your attention to detail is what makes your builds better than the rest. Don't stop.
When people take pride and do things the proper way is hard to come buy anymore I am one of those people that take great pride in what i do. i have heard many times in my life from people and bosses when I'm working or doing what ever I'm doing "you arnt building a piano" implying to hurry up and just get it done regardless of looks and function. So i quit working for people and started my own business so can do things the proper way.
I really appreciate your attention to detail. You not only want the car to be safe, functional and easily repairable, but you want it to look good too. I applaud your high level of excellence in fabrication and design.
I appreciate that!
Ricky and Eddy definitely add a little flavor to the show, great work atmosphere with great people and the knowledge you bring makes this a great series. Great work guys.
Attention to detail is one of the important things that bring customers back and get new ones 👍Great work fellas 👌them youngins laugh at me feelin the weather to i tellem you wait 😉☮️
It’s nice to see Eddie actually working Kevin not giving away money 💰
Just wanted to say Kevin, sir you are racing legend and an inspiration to anyone who loves to go fast. Love watching u do what u do. Learn little things all the time. Keep the videos coming
Awesome! Thank you!
I love your attention to detail =quality craftsmanship!
I highly enjoy the detailed explanation of your fabrication work!
Hey Kevin, it's 7:30 AM here in Tahiti, I'm eating breakfast and watching KSR first thing. I have two cats by my side and when you said that, the both looked at me with wide eyes and said, "Daddy, do they really do that there?"
Have a great day and Lord Bless...
LOL! My cat would not approve either!!
Really enjoyed the details of the dash mount fabrication - super interesting and cool to watch IMO. I really appreciate seeing the thought and effort that goes into making the build that much more professional
Really slick build, Kevin. The thought and preparation shows. Plus if you come up with some crafty fix, you can use it on the Olds!
Great additions to the 5th gen! The progress is needed and KSR delivers as usual!
Absolutely love how he cut the wheel tubs to follow the contour of the bracket. That looks sick. Love yalls attention to detail. 💪💪💪
What an excellent build. That Camaro is going to be awesome.
Great update with some fun added. So many details on the Morris' Camaro to attend to. It shows what is takes for a build of this nature, and why these cars are expensive. Many thanks.
Love the attention to fit and finnish. LOL!! Love the ending.
Precision and attention to details are what sets KSR apart. I enjoy you showing all the details and explanations of why it’s important.
Hi ksr, I'm about 500 miles north of Minneapolis, back in 1975 my 67 camaro was worked on by Don Ness, first time seeing Simcoe bronze weld seems, my body shop was never the same for fabrication after that,, nice work, great videos,, go rocket, the crazy canuk😊
Using the process leads to progress!! Love the detailed explanation, keep that up! Awesome seeing Eddie's craftsmanship...HE DOES WORK!! lol Kevin, you and your crew is are true craftsman. Thanks for the awesome content!!
I appreciated the fit of the dashboard. Never underestimate the power of envelopes and cardboard 😂. The dashboard screen is either on a slant to maintain the curve in the whole thing, aesthetics, or to minimise internal reflections: practicality. I am guessing, of course. We'll see what your dad makes of it later. There certainly is an interesting mix of materials and fixing methods. Good to watch. Regards, Stephen.
You have a great team, with fabulous rapport.
"There's more than one way to skin a cat" is an American phrase from the late 19th century, but probably has its roots in "There are more ways to kill a dog than hanging", included in English naturalist John Ray's 1678 "Collection of English Proverbs".
Milwaukee 2482 1/2x18 bandfile is probably my favorite tool they ever made . Use it everyday machining or fabrication
It's a ksr Friday morning yes yes
I love the in depth stuff! Talk nerdy to me!!!
LMAO this comment took me to a different thought at first.
Awesome team! Love it. I think the fabrication detail is awesome, too!
Thank you for all the killer content you’ve been pumping out it’s very much appreciated
Very Welcome! Thanks for watching!!
Please keep showing this level of detail on these builds. This dash mounting information would have been great to have 8 years ago, the first time I did one. Great information. Many thanks.
Awesome progress
good shop morale when you enjoy your job you get better work done
That last clip was epic! 😂😂😂
Great content thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Kev, you need to to give your shop kids some props on video!
Beautiful workmanship!
Attention to details is what counts in the end. As a 38 yr career carpenter it's what has set me aside from others and the proof is apparent at the end whether it's visible or hidden it's the details that count.
Thank you for the video. Plus glad you remembered Val like her parachute handle above her head.
Alex Taylor and Bryant Goldstone have both also had doors sucked/blown apart in the last couple years. I'm here for all the builds and all the details Kevin!
Not boring to see the level of detail you put into even just the dash mount.
That’s the details my uncle used to do when he built his hot rods. and I can appreciate the end result.
Outstanding vid! Love the in depth details 👍🏻
Lol @ the end 🤣
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
OHHH I see Lee's car back in the shop!!! time for more Road races!!!
Racing season has begun, indeed.
Your attention to detail is second to none, not only does it have to function it looks good too, loving this build
I really like seeing the detailed parts of the builds it gives me ideas to use on my own projects
Kevin,If you didn't have Ricky and Eddie working for you it would be boring. Two talented fun guys.
You got a great bunch of guys working for you, Kevin.
Your road racing experience is obviously a big help in anticipating aerodynamics on the Camaro. Nice job, guys!
Definitely love the detailed videos. It’s so nice to learn some of the intricacies and how you think your way through problems. A lot of the videos show things but glance over them, leaving me with a lot of “why” questions.
Of course it looks professional! YOU did it.
You are a car builder. I like the fact of the amount of detail you put into the little things. As a person who would want you to build my car. I would appreciate the detail. Keep it up it is what separates you from the Hacks out there.
Thanks for the update Kevin! That car is going to be 🔥 She's in good hands!😊
It’s the details that bring us back buddy. Talk to Steve and Val about it. He wouldn’t be letting you do this if he didn’t value your work. Kyle (Steve’s son) builds cars too.
loving the details and thought process. Personal preference is what sets Kevin apart !
Mate I love your forward thinking & no it's not boring it's great to see the finer details.
Keep up the great work 👍
I love hr long videos bring em on. I love that you do things proper for structural, reliability and looks peoples lives and safety are at hand its your duty to. Keep up the amazing work.
Lol!! Good times. You guys make a great team!
My opinion one of the most detail oriented chassis builder, meet him and steve in sick week. Super humble and down to earth fella.
Yes he is you should check out Cj race cars they are building cleetus's new drag car and they are amazing at what they do as well. They don't do long enough videos displaying there amazing work that is the only downside.
Kevin does amazing work.
These are the skills that save lives. Steve is the skills that makes em go stupid fast.
Imagine back In The day when all these things were experimental and being figured out and it took a tiny rail car to do a 7-8 second run with what was available for tech olgy in the 60's.
I love drag racing history.
The dragster with the engines in front of the divers.. Cammer ford's and hemis ruled the tracks.
But hat an era.
Always wished I was born in the late 40's.and a teenager in the late 50's.
The tooling we have now didn't exist.. Peak of America when we awere still free.
Kevin. You need to tell the guy's (crew) that Age and treachery will overcome youth and skill. You got my vote in the future race wars between you and the guys...🤓
Eddie's a movie star, only works when the camera is rolling!!!
Bwahahaha
Steve and Val will be stoked in the quality that you guys are putting in 😊, well done. 🤙🤙
Love the shop banter.
Never too much detail. The devil is in the details. Thank you. 😎
Oh man so many ideas...plus a few things that I already have used in my build...im not quite @ ur level but for doing it in my garage it's definitely cool using some of the same things
Iclove watching these videos. It definitely shows how indepth it takes to build a racecar! Keep up the great work!
thanks for your videos rs
The A.I. software you used on Eddie is amazing! The dust on him was a nice touch! 👌 😂 5 stars on the tubs!
I'm here for the details, that's the interesting part!
Hey, I wanna know where the little guys going with that dirtbike and that bald tire😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you guys keep up the good work stay motivated
Little Ricky loves burnouts. Makes him feel like a big man!
@@DrewJackson73 😂 I want to see him and Garza go at it on the track🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@DrewJackson73 we miss you at the shop Drew
I’m heading straight to drew moms house with that bald tire
That's some great shop shenanigans for sure, I laughed a lot Kev 😛😆😆👍🏻
I was cracking uuuuuuuuuuuppp editing that last bit!
Personally, I prefer the longer KSR videos, because I'm almost guaranteed to learn something. It's either a new skill, or a new method to an old skill. Either way, it's a Win/Win with KSR.
Eddy at KSR reminds me of Doug at Motion… random thought. I can’t wait to see the cutlass and the Camaro on its on feet
thats a fact kev you can feel it in your bones and BTW I have 2 hip replacements so I can feel when its really cold.
Yeah, I’m really liking your build here and how you did the dash actually. Keep up the good work. I find other builders work interesting. I’m from the midget and sprint car game.
Hey Kevin. Kyle has latches in the windows but is trying to hook to the body not a cage mounted loop. It possibly slipped off.
Aaaahhhhhh
Gettin Stuff Done!
Is that the McAmis Tunnel?
You need to invest in a plasma/water jet table to save time on fab work and piecemeal work
We have an ArcDroid that we use for some parts, but the stuff like the dash support pieces are easier to hand fabricate. Now if we were building more of the same types of car, I would save the template of the piece that I hand fabricated to use on future builds.
Cant wait to see Steve and Cleet face off with their new Camaros...
That last clip reminded me of an ostrich. LOL
It would be interesting to hear the differences between building this 6-second car and Garett's 5-second Camaro. I'm sure that one "little" second makes for a lot of different design decisions.
Very Much so!! And we will still be a "Street Car" with a cooling system, passenger seat, etc. I do think this car could poke into the 5s with an SMX in it and carbon doors!
Kevin, can you get Eddie a more comfortable chair? I'm worried about him. He's looking a little run down and weak. Possibly some type of cot would work. Just be sure it has massage function and a mini fridge built in for cool beverages.
Kevin, you seem to be an exceptional dude. Keep up the good work my friend.
Nice video, Kevin. Love the nerdy stuff! 👍 From Norway
Love the vibes in the shop!
I wonder how much Kevin had to chop out of the original video to keep this one right on the minute mark like he always does!
Great to see Eddie actually doing something the day to day grind of working for ksr, and Kevin wow C.A.D. Design wow. Cardboard aided design 😂…come on how many cats have you skinned over the years , we having more Pontiac tubes on Sunday
when you are paying to have it done they sould give it to you prefect and professional doing it right the first time
freedon factory needs a dirt flat track talk garret into it will bring late models sprint cars and dirt bikes !
Another great video
Glad you enjoyed it
It's like they have nothing better to do !!
Great content, appreciate all you do. Best to keep your overhead low during this economy.❤
Hey Kevin, has anyone discussed the option of using a set of Quik Jacks to raise cars like these up for maintenance/repairs? Minimal weight gain but also a little less heavy stuff to carry around, and getting the car up in the air safely is much faster.
Kev you do amazing work my guy! & Really love the channel I have a question? Could you put a carbon skid plate under the car for better sir flow??
I don’t think people or more or less interested in either of the builds. I think its the day of the week… me personally I love um all.
Loaded 3 minutes ago and already 100 views and 28 likes! Nice
Good video to watch
Silica bronze brazing, whether torch or TIG, is actually the best process to use for joining dissemilar metals, whether different alloys or sheet/plate to tube. If you read any welding book it'll tell you that, it's also the best rod to use for attaching the first piece to header flanges as bronze withstands thermocycling FAR better than steel or stainless do and won't crack anywhere near as easily.. Which is why the Super Comp Hooker header flanges are still TIG brazed. Personally I think that if you know what you're doing brazing is a hell of a lot stronger than people give it credit for, especially in a situation where you want some give to it.. I mean look at how many decades Top Fuel/Funny Car frames were brazed before TIG became commonplace. Hell Moto GP frames are STILL brazed, often with gas not TIG and look how few of those have ever snapped a frame... even in some really bad wrecks.
Kevin, I know you love your tools, let me introduce you to one that'll make your sheet metal fab SO much easier.. Get yourself an air nibbler. While kind of loud, they are really fast and chew through metal FAR quicker than an air saw or the old fashioned sheers that roll up what it cuts out. These just take a little crescent moon shaped bit out over and over and go super fast. Finnegan actually has one (not that he ever remembers it) and loved it.
The finer detail 👍
