    Mr Kdawg I've been watching a lot of your videos I'm coming all the way down from the NC high country to hold onto some of those flounder 🤣

      Yes sir I just came from the mountains. On vacation. Good thing about our state. We got mountains and the beach. And I’m almost in the middle of the state. I woulda liked to try and catch some small mouths in some of the mountain lakes. I’ve never caught a small mouth. But didn’t have a chance l!!!

    nice video, nice to see ya back in cherry grove, bummer about no flounder. but still fun to catch anything. SC rules on trout , 10 per person per day
    14-inch TL. can't wait to bet back there and try some of the things been watching you show, especially down by the circle houses on the marsh area. maybe even try in the surf . keep posting really enjoy watching. BTW, curious, what size jig head you using on this outing?

    • @Captain_Kdawg
      @Captain_Kdawg  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for watching man I appreciate the continued support! I was using a 1/4 ounce. I use that about 90% of the time. Only switch to 1/2 ounce depending how big a bait I throw. Or how deep I’m fishing. But mostly in less than 10 feet of water 1/4 ounce does just fine.

    Hi captain, heading down to north myrtle in the next couple of weeks. Im an avid bass fisherman from massachusetts, with some salt water experience up here. Any tips or suggestions for fishing house creek/cherry groove in the coming weeks?

    • @Captain_Kdawg
      @Captain_Kdawg  Рік тому

      Yes sir I’d get a pack or 2 of the pearl white 4” gulp swimming mullets. And put it on a 1/4 ounce jig head. And just drag/hop it on the bottom. You should be Abel to find some flounder like that!

    I've Rented a House on the inlet. At 45th Avenue. With a boat deck. I'm going to use my 14ft. Jon boat. Do you think it be safe to use it. As long as it's Calm water..

      Ohh yes sir for sure. This place it made for John boats and kayaks. It’s been about 2 months since I was there. And they were dredging not sure if they still are. But there’s other places to fish for sure.
