I was expecting for Shanks to take a lot of damage from an attack, only for that followed by the reveal that the battle hasn't begun yet, it was just Shanks using a very advanced observation haki

The truth is that Shanks beats Sasuke only by using the emperor's haki.
Sasuke pulls him with universal pull and soul ripps him, one shotting him like a fodder

Nothing in Shanks' arsenal can counter universal pull + soul ripping, universal pull + amaterasu, teleport on a amaterasu field, getting turned into chibaku tensei's gravity core or getting teleported into a chidori.
Future sight doesn't help in those cases, it is useful when you can dodge what you see, you can't dodge getting teleported or pulled.
Hey, it's obvious that you don't know anything about One Piece, you're just talking nonsense because I'm talking about the emperor's haki, plus Shanks has more attack varieties, and even though Shanks adapted to having one arm, he's a younkou, he's very strong. If we talk about strength and speed, vision haki would have no limits in the face of something absurd, and vision haki can help you realize the next ability they are going to use. And he is one of the strongest, I even think he surpasses the protagonist Luffy.

great job I enjoyed that a lot, but I think you missed a lot of opportunities with Shanks, like observation haki when Sasuki uses his Amaterasu by doing the ring sound, also when he used his conqueror haki you should've changed the color of his blade to black as like entering serious mode, and much more but overall good job
