Thank you very much for covering my deadlift. The insight on the knees extension and foot pressure are very helpful!

Cheers for covering my squat guys. Decided not to do this comp in single ply and just doing it Raw. Since I sent that video in ended up lowering the rack height one and had a proper belt that was on order arrive. I was starting with the suit at about 80% of Raw Max, but I'll definitely put it on a bit earlier in the next training block!

Nice to see a fellow Aussie in a PA shirt. What comp is it? I'm training for Asia Pacifics at the fitness expo in Melbourne in April atm.

We have a multi-ply bencher at my gym who likes a 3 person hand off and, yeah, the release does get sketchy. When the center spotter says "release" we try not to just drop the bar on the lifter. It's kind of a gradual release to make sure he can stay locked out with the weight.

    Braylon's squat leverages are insane.

There is still the rule for a lift for squats in the IPF. I was spotting at the Western European competition in Iceland last year, where there were two equipped lifters who asked for a three-man lift-off for the bench, and then afterwards, my coach told me about the rule for squats. Absolutely weird to get a lift-off for squats.

    Question:
When doing the bracing technique etc, in the first video, the lady was wearing deadlift straps (normal wraps not figure 8 straps), sounds daft but the question is when would you brace with the straps?
If you recommend bracing in the top up position would that be difficult to brace? (going by your preference of the bracing video you've done which was awesome info).
Does that make sense? Good content by the way guys 🙂

Dumping equipped levels of weight off your back sounds absolutely terrifying. Esp if you're shouting at your spotter to get out of the way and he doesn't understand what's happening!

Guten Tag, auf wiedersehn, nice ^^ In German you could also say "Hallo" (which looks kind of opposite to the portoguise "Olá" like Bryce thought there for a moment but also looks like Hello, basically because english derived from "low german" which is kinda similar to dutch to some extend). and for Goodbye you could also say "Tschüss" xD while "Auf Wiedersehen" means "see you (again)" but in my generation noone uses these terms basically. We just say "Hi" or "Hey" and "Tschau" or "man sieht sich" = we will see each other again or "bis dann" = until next time.
you can see the strong relationship between german and english in some words used here: see = sehen, guten tag = good day (dutch: Goedendag, norwegian: God dag),

Thanks so much for all the helpful advice.
In hindsight saying my partner recommends opening my hips more might seem slightly inappropriate 🤭
Also love the way you say my name

Your random German lesson: "hallo" means hello, Bryce mentioned "Auf Wiedersehen" which means goodbye or more verbatim "until I see you again"
