I first saw this watching a 15 yr old tournament team my buddy coaches. I thought it looked cool, but had to ask him why they did it. He told me what it’s purpose was, but had to UA-cam to really see it. Thanks for talking about it. I coach my sons 11 yr old little league team and I think this will help them be ready to field, but it will also give them something to do. Make them focus and keep them from getting bored. Unite the team. They are already taking leads and stealing at that age. So, what if there are runners on base?
just awesome!

can still do a prep step. might be in motion moving off the base as the pitch is thrown but it doesnt rule it out or anything
When exactly to prep step?
right before contact is made - you'll figure it out for yourself in games
