In this vid, we'll share the art of chopping and flipping samples for beat making. Sampling is key in hip-hop music production, and knowing how to effectively manipulate samples is essential for making unique and dope beats. We'll show sample selection and how to identify the best parts of a sample to use and how to extract those parts. We'll also dive into the process of chopping samples into smaller segments and arranging them to create new melodies and rhythms. Lastly, we'll discuss the concept of "flipping" a sample, which involves manipulating it in creative ways to create a completely new sound. Whether you're a seasoned beat maker or just getting started with beat making, hopefully this tutorial will provide you with inspiration and techniques for beat making with your samples.

I love it being honest. Jfilt you are the best.
It came out really good! I could totally hear a full on track come out of that. It's so much easier to keep it going from this point, it's the blank canvas that's the hardest part 👍🔥
salute
Please keep doing more of these!
I love it! Inspires me to get back to beat making

Thank you, J Filt. Happy to see Mingus again! I am the guy that sent you the skin for Mingus. Glad to see him get some shine today!
Thanks again
Yo Verysickbeats you should check out Amigo Sampler VST if you haven’t yet.
Apparently it emulates the specific sound of the Amiga and has like an Akai styled timestretch.
This was dope
much thanks
This is a jedi mind trick type sample I can hear Vinnie pazz ripping Over it. Maybe even necro
whats the best way to load your bass sound pack into logic so i can make my own basslines with it
you did the so drums fast tho! i might try this but i need 15 minutes just to lay down drums
i spent to much time on the drums, this was edited
How do you feel about the new mpc stems 🤦🏾!?
From what I hear it seems cool but I’m fine with what I have
I notice when you over think your music it's worse, my best beats were done quickly and on the spot with no hesitation.
Same but when I notice that there's nothing that stands out when it comes to simple chopping or looping i start to experiment and taking a long time on a song even if it doesn't stand out.
I can do a dope beat very quick it's the mixing and mastering I take my time on. It's what makes a decent beat go from acceptable to sounding epic. Even if it's a basic loop
@@billzco6137 Why are you mastering a beat sir?
