- Great game Iris! I uploaded this battle mainly because of how fun it is to play against teams that are not constantly repetitive. Lately it seems like every team I battle is the same, which is why I am currently working on a bunch of new original Pokemon. I will have more wifi battles uploaded really soon! Thanks for watching guys, as always it means a lot to me that you find my videos interesting.

This guy has more balls than shofu. I love how he uses non standard pokemon.Shofu is strong but he uses the same old shit. It's like watching a replay. All pokemon deserve the same attention.

I blame Smogon for the amount of repetitive teams in the battle community.
***** I honestly think they do. I personally think almost all their rules are justified despite not being official, and the sets and EV spreads they have up for all the Pokémon are merely suggestions, not the norm, though most people tend to copy off of them too much.
TheAsianShadow100 The only rules I am fine with is evasion clause, however Sand Veil and Snow Cloak should now be allowed due to the nerfing of weather, sleep clause is also silly this Gen, since the mechanics aren't fucked up like they were in 5th Gen and sleep is pretty easy to avoid or get out of now.

While agree that weather abilities should be allowed now due to their nerfs in this gen, I still agree with sleep clause. It's only easier to avoid/get rid of if you have a Grass-type on your team, and only if the opponent uses a powder-related move like Spore. Even then, that gives the opponent leeway to Spore the other five Pokémon in your team and take them all out should they come into contact with them.
Not only a grass type, Pokémon with Safety goggles can't get put to sleep either unless its by their own doing, I do see how cheap it is, but when its gone back to maximum of 3 turns sleep and the counter doesn't reset when you switch out, I think it should be allowed.

I had to check out with what you do with your Barbacle (I use one on my team too) and it great work! Lol. Oh and its nickname makes perfect sense! Iris certainly had a pretty solid team without the ''typical'' Pokémon you see everyday

Me too. I really wanna get better at battling though and the only way to do that is practice so it's a dilemma. Let me know if you (or anybody else new) want to battle sometime.
Dominic Gaeta I also want to be better at battling. I'm still having to learn what types are super effective against what and what moves are useful. I will probably try it out with you but let me level up some of my pokemon first.

There's no harm in trying, as far as I know losing gives no disadvantage in game.

It is so nice to see somebody battling with a mixed team like Haydunn's when all the other PokeTubers just use op teams like shofu with Rotom-W, Aegislash and millions of legendaries. I would like to see Haydunn kick the shit out of shofu with Hand D Job, Spookshire and Paul.

I agree and I wish he would stop bitching about using smogon rules, I would love to battle shofu because I have a few great counters to his teams. The sad thing is that if one of his videos is on my homepage I ended up watching it.
I'll watch shofu's videos but Haydunn's are more entertaining and better overall...plus Shofu is very full of himself and is kind of a douchebag , Haydunn is just awesome lol

Respect to both of y'all for making original teams and not being OU whores. Shofu made a video saying that "He picks OU pokemon/legendaries that aren't banned because he wants to win." and that's, IMO, the wrong way to go about it.
While you do want to win, I'd imagine you'd want to spice up what everyone sees. I'd rather have two different teams fight each other (with some OU pokemon, some not) than two teams fighting that both have Talonflame, Mamoswine, Aegislash, Gliscor, Genesect, and Mega Lucario. Seriously, fucking think outside the box for two seconds and change up your team.
Well, the upside to guys like shofu doing that, is that you can wreck face with less-used pokemon now. Those over-centralized teams will have no answer for you and your unpredictable wrath.
That was the first and last video of Shofu I saw. He directly told people to not have an opinion. It's also boring as hell to play (and watch play) that way.
Alfredo Marquez Agreed. It's fine to use a team for several videos. I just don't like it when your team hasn't changed except when 1) Pokebank was released in Japan and 2) when Smogon bans something. At least Haydunn mixes it up sometimes (and he says he will in the info box below video) and props to his opponent in the video for having an original team. Pimpnite also uses pretty much exclusively UU and lower Pokemon because he finds it more of a challenge and much more enjoyable when he wins. I like that, instead of just "playing to win".
I've just started to watch Pimpnite (Good figths, so so commentary) and I get a lot of ideas from watching him. (IE: I think that an Assault Vest Statler could work as it has got many coverage moves and Intimidate already covers for his defense). Watching videos with variety actually makes you think about the game. Haydunn is also pretty funny.

That was a really good game. but i think she should've gone into her metagross instead of rapidash when your ambipom was out since it couldn't do shit to it and set back up the screens or at least one of them

I love fighting teams with non-standard pokes. It's hard not to run standard pokes like rotom or the normal megas. But I'll throw in a tentacruel, hippowdon, florges, or leafeon for fun.
