I cannot believe what I am hearing. Such great technique and respect for the score. I love the introduction of the main theme, preky and playful, and OMG, the articulation at 1:18 and 2:07, following the score, staccato and the accent on the next note l. Just like in the orchestral piece, almost nobody does it that way. Thank you, thank you, thank you! If I could play the piece this is exactly how I would like it to sound. The only thing I missed is that the beginning was a bit too monotone and metronomical. But who am I to judge. Thanks for putting in so much effort and dedication to Liszt's music and for sharing it with us, it was so diabolical, I loved every minute of it!

Didn't know Liszt was a good composer until I heard this. Chopin allegedly wrote a letter stating that Liszt played Chopin's etudes while he sight-read, and that he played them better than him!
Chopin said he wished the way Liszt played his etudes could be "stolen away", and it is not at all clear that that was meant to be praise. I consider it most likely that L kind of loaded them with schmaltz.
