Hello, thanks for the review. I heard that mailchimp allows you to manage your custom email domain inbox so that marketing and emails received can be managed in one place. Is that right? What's the best way to do that with mailerlite? Or is it better to keep your inbox with your domain provider separate from your email marketing provider? Hope that makes sense! Trying to learn how things all link to each other..
Hi there - that's right, you can set up a Mailchimp Inbox to manage replies straight out of Mailchimp. Mailerlite doesn't have an equivalent feature, but you can specify an email account for all replies to go to - which can be beneficial if you want to set up rules for filtering out emails (e.g. excluding out-of-office replies).
Thank you for your reply. It seems strange that email marketing providers don't all provide mailboxes. I'm struggling to find a good, secure, affordable email provider. Is there one you'd recommend?
@@asayeed2853 If you are looking for an email provider for regular company emails I'd look into something like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. If you are looking for an email service provider that also lets you manage support emails, Brevo could be a good fit: ua-cam.com/video/yqzao1mZs9E/v-deo.html Let me know if you have any further questions!
Hi there! With Mailchimp, unsubscribed contacts go towards your contact limit, so if you're on a paid plan, you're effectively paying for these too. On a free plan, there are no costs, but just bear in mind that that it only allows for 500 contacts (which includes unsubscribed contacts). So, you might hit your free limit pretty quickly. Not a fan of MailChimp because they charge for the number of lists a subscriber is on or of they are unsubscribed. An email address to be paying for is one active subscriber. Doesn't matter how many lists they are on.
Hi there, thanks for your comment :). We share your opinion on this point. It doesn't seem fair that Mailchimp charges for unsubscribed and inactive contacts. Most other email marketing tools don't do that.

How can mailchimp charge you a fee for a unsubcribed customer if you sign up for a free account?
