Bros revealing all of my secrets 😭 But in all reality its just a ton of editing with frame overlays and drawing in shadows underneath the car. Both of the flips combined took 10 hours plus lol, so im glad you enjoyed it!
@EricEstepp , another way to achieve something just as realistic but way easier is taking a photo of the car, remove it's background, and overlay it with the main shot and add the shadow
Thanks for doing this! I love it when this community, so niche and so talented, gets the recognition it deserves. An over abundance of creators only manage few tens or hundreds of views when they deserve millions and showcases like this I feel are the best way to get it out there. So many talented creators new and old and we all know just how tedious and time consuming it is. I'm sure many people say this to you, but your inspiration only created a larger sense of creativity and motivation for thousands more than may be comprehensible. Thank you Eric for doing this! We all appreciate you : )
Eric thank you so much for including me in the video! You were my inspiration growing up and when I finally got the opportunity to do stop motion, your videos gave me the motivation to do so!! Thank you for the kind words, this is a dream come true for me!!!
The stop motions in this video are phenomenal! Thank you for reviewing mine as well! This community is only gonna grow bigger and bigger, honestly the most underrated genre on UA-cam!
Thank you so much for all of the positive things you said about my race! You're one of my biggest inspirations, and I'm so glad you liked it! Congrats to everyone who made it in the video!
I remember watching DECS back in the day and that inspired me to start making races. Unfortunately my camera broke when i was starting to get good at it. Good thing people are still doing it.
I used to watch your stop motion channel back in high school around 2016-2017 and found OOTG the 2021 season and watch every upload and when I tell you it was a blast the system finding out you were literally the same person (connected the dots during your downhill racing tournament) been a fan of yours longer than I even realized
it’s crazy how much the nascar stop motion community has improved since the days of DECS, these were really well put together. i tried doing a stop motion series once a long while back but it didn’t last, this kinda stuff takes a lot of patience, plus i would never be able to create one of those tracks
It's crazy to see how good some of these stop motions are nowadays. shoutout to all the creators keeping the NASCAR Stop Motion community alive and well!
Stop Motions were one of the first things i remember watching on YT... always holds a soft spot, you should do these like yearly or twice a year. may not put up numbers but nostalgic and Im definetly subbing to GavinBeers cuz he deserves it lol
I feel like every time a new one came on I’d say “oh yeah this one is my favorite so far” and when it came time to pick a favorite I couldn’t!! xD these were all absolutely incredible, bravo to everyone featured!!
This is a really cool trip back in time. Although the younger crowd isn’t considered as strong as generations past as far as NASCAR fans go, these stop motions that you, Geno Harvey and others made really provided an outlet for young nascar fans when there wasn’t much. Especially for me, growing up in an area without Motorsports interest, I was able to meet people across the country (some of which drive in NASCAR now (Rajah) and others works for teams/businesses all around Charlotte. Pretty cool to see that the kids are still doing this stuff, let’s get them some numbers! They all deserve it
5:57 Love how Dale Jr's #88 COT (car of tomorrow) is the pace car. Fitting since he has been a pace car driver for the NASCAR Cup Series (not sure if he still is tho). I'd say making the COT the pace car would make it the safest pace car in NASCAR given the crazy amount of safety features that the COT has. It can take a BEATING with the drivers being able to get out, all while the Next Gen/Gen 7 would take a beating with the drivers not being as lucky.
I wanna shout all the nascar stopmotion creators out. I tried that on my old UA-cam a long time ago and I got 5 races into my schedule before I quit doing it cause I hated doing the work and it was, of course, nowhere near as clean as what all you guys do. Awesome job on all your channels and keep the awesome content coming!! It’s awesome to see my childhood still living and thriving
Hey Eric, thanks to you, i’m thinking about starting my own NASCAR stop-motion series. (And don’t worry, the yellow line rule dosen’t exist.) :) Here’s some things IRL that aren’t in the series. 1. The yellow line rule. 2. Stage races. 3. Playoffs 4. Green-white-checkered
This brings me back to when I was little and would watch your stop motions and a few other creators like this and I’d run my own races by just pushing the diecasts myself Also at 23:14 if you look closely behind the front tire you can kind of see his thumb a little so it’s photoshopped
I remember discovering your stop motion races back when I was in grade 2, when I saw them I was amazed and I started getting into NASCAR. You inspired me to make my own stop motions using random cars I had in 2020, and I even wrote a narrative in grade 3 which included you in it. Now, I’m much more of a Formula 1 fan than a NASCAR one, but I still show a bit of love for NASCAR. My favourite driver was Kyle Larson, I think I chose him because he had the Target livery and that was a brand I recognised.
My first videos on my original channel were me attempting to do stop motion and my early days were spent trying to get into other peoples stop motion series. I still have some of my videos saved. The camera i used was a digital camera that could only hold 6 photos at a time so every time i took 6, id upload them to my desktop and add them to my moviemaker file. I still have the itch to do stop motion but it's so time consuming. My favorite part of atop motion has always been making the tracks and seeing tracks people make. Ive got nothing but respect for stop motion guys fr. Absolute legends
Its amazing this video is full circle. I remember a long time ago i found your stop motion videos and would tune in all the time to watch them. Fast forward a few years and me and my girlfriend are scrolling through youtube and I found one of your 'out of the groove' videos. I really liked the video and went to see if I was subscribed and it turned out I was. I went to your most viewed videos and found you were the same person that was making the stop motion I watched back in the day. I miss those old stop motion videos and every once in a while, find myself also looking at the new creators making them. Great video!
I've been a part of the NASCAR Stop Motion community for 10+ years and I've been making races since 2014. The things these new creators are doing are absolutely insane. It blows me away how good these tracks look and how crazy the crashes are. The races I make are smooth but what I do is nowhere near as impressive as what a lot of these up and coming creators can do.
Im impressed by the work gavin put in to pocono, i mean he even added the choose lane for realism. As someone from Pennsylvania gavin is doing gods work
First time viewer in channel and SM.Wasn't sure what I was going to see,and I must say I was really impressed with these SM artists very, very cool. Keep up the great work and hope to capture ya later 😉
3:00 The walls are weatherstripping. I use them for my stop motion tracks as well but I use a different type. The Goodyear Cup Series was the first to use it and then I started using it and I made a track tutorial video and now everyone uses weatherstripping as walls 😂
13 yes on you tube and 10 moves 😂 I have been following you for many yrs and through all your moves. Glad you keep going. Your content has always been spot on most everything.
I’m late to the party on this, but the NASMAR community really does make some amazing races, with Gavin’s being the pinnacle for sure. It’s worth checking out how some of the storylines continue into the next races after Pocono
hey I have the wheaties car too! My grandmother got it somewhere and it was in thebucket of toy cars at her house when I was little, and I eventually integrated it into my collection
I started watching in 2017, and I wanted to make my own stop motion animations but I very quickly ran out of patience lol. These animators are so impressive
15:40 I'm Making A Talladega Race With That Camara Angle A Whooping 45 Cars Crashes Lap 4/15 Brian Scott Crashes Into Chase Elliott Lap 11/15 Todd Gilliland Crashes Lap 15/15 The Big One Happens Taking Out 40 Out Of The 42 Remaining Cars On The Last Lap Only Chase Briscoe And Ryan Preece Got Passed It And Somehow Chase Elliott Continues And Got 3rd Chase Briscoe Would Win That Race
Really like the one with the kid commenting i started covering my races when i raced my cars around that same age. i didnt do stop motion videos though.
Dude, you saw 2 of your favourites finish 1-2, spongebob 1, kenseth 2. Also, I'm curious. Which Matt Kenseth car is your favourite favourite, the 17 or the 20? I also enjoyed watching you reenact the 2007 Kevin James command.

Haha thanks for sharing! Incredible job.
Good job.

Miscraft i love your stop motions man you inspired me to return to making stop motions and i thank you for that
Definitely. NASCAR UA-camrs as a whole have lots of talent, but sadly many don't get showcased.
Holy crap I made it. You’re my inspiration Eric! Also it took over 6000 photos to make the Charlotte race. Thank you this means a lot to me
6000? Man that's deserving of a sub (that sub being me 😊)
@@LeviCPC25 welcome to the show!
Bro over 6000?! That’s wild and I’m subbed to you….. buddy gotta take a break
@@andruski54 just subbed

Good job.
4:40 That "OH! HE TURNED HIM!" kinda reminded me of DW's reaction on Kyle Busch spinning Dale Earnhardt, Jr. at Richmond in 2008.
The stop motions in this video are phenomenal! Thank you for reviewing mine as well! This community is only gonna grow bigger and bigger, honestly the most underrated genre on UA-cam!
Thank you for all the good things you said! I remember watching you when I was a kid wishing I could do something like you did so it means a lot!
that pocono track is amazing
Only stop motion creators know how tedious it is to make these sometimes and thats why im glad you are giving them the credit they need.
I tried many years ago not very good at all but the videos are still up bc I’m proud of ‘em
Thank you so much for all of the positive things you said about my race! You're one of my biggest inspirations, and I'm so glad you liked it! Congrats to everyone who made it in the video!

I used to watch your stop motion videos such a long time ago, great to see that you are still making content!
Can't wait til you make more of these videos again. Seeing this make me happy and ready for the real Nascar to start next week.
that intro was very humble. You were THE BEST at stop motion races during your time doing them.
Whoever made this Pocono Raceway is one of the greatest stop motion creator ever
Please do more reactions because i love them amd the reactions are so pure.

As a Busch fan I am so depressed in how many stop motions end up in a busch barely loosing finish lmao

I actually know speed cup stop motion he’s one of my friends he very chill

hey Eric i love your nascar stop motions its the best i have subscribed to you for a while i'm a huge nascar fan i lived in flordia near jacksonville.
You have awesome stop motion races
Wait, there are more amazing creators out there than just the very popular people.
I’ve been working in a stop motion series for a bit, so hopefully that’ll be out soon. Just gonna be a Daytona racing series for now
Eric should react to some diecast tracks or diecast collections
"Safety be damned" 😂
Some of these stop motions like the first one looks so accurate

Someone who I feel should deserve more attention is Nashawk. He might not do as much races at the others but his content is equally great.
Glad to be watching since 2012
Bro is the pioneer of nascar stop motion
wow i’m automatically a fan of andruski
I started watching in 2017, and I wanted to make my own stop motion animations but I very quickly ran out of patience lol. These animators are so impressive
Video 3 is a absolute banger

I love how this video was and I love it and I’m making my own video today
Eric’s doing free advertising
i must say the pocono stop motion was extremely impressive
Please do more NASCAR stop motion reactions, we deserve a shout out from a big content creator just like you, Eric!
Really like the one with the kid commenting i started covering my races when i raced my cars around that same age. i didnt do stop motion videos though.
I'm sad I didn't make the cut but still a great video as always
Came up in my recommended videos... I didn't expect to see kyle busch run out of gas on the final lap multiple times in a row...
“Matt kenseth was never this aggressive in real life” *casualy slams joey into the wall head on at martinsville*
eric, keep up the great work. what races do you think you’re gonna make it to this year?
Daytona and Texas for sure. Still working on the rest of my schedule
these are somehow more entertaining than actual nascar
Can we get another full championship eric?
That second one in the last race Bowman is every going to win 🤣
19:53 "no injuries in stop motions". Wrong, Miscraft Season 7 Talladega.
Dude, you saw 2 of your favourites finish 1-2, spongebob 1, kenseth 2. Also, I'm curious. Which Matt Kenseth car is your favourite favourite, the 17 or the 20? I also enjoyed watching you reenact the 2007 Kevin James command.
Using wires or a post then erasing the post in post-production….very cool
Business idea: Eric you bring DECS by working with Gavin Beers, you commentate, Gavin does the stop motion.
we need a part 2 to this video
Please do Nascar77 and NascarDecals34!!!!
