Absolutely the best movie with the best soundtrack I have ever seen. I’m sixty two.
check out the Big Gundowns soundtrack also by EM.
im 24 and its also my favourite Movie.
2manyspruces Try the original 1960 Magnificent Seven.
I'm 65 and seen it so many times and I still have the "45" 7" record of the music...
Sometimes the music is spot on and you have created a blockbuster. Just savor it
I remember seeing this movie at a drive in. My mom and dad took my brother and I. We dropped the seat down in the 1965 2+2 model red fastback,we were 5 and 6 years old. That turned our hearts to be into mustang and a good classic movie as a good western. They need more Clint Eastwood actors. Thanks for the experience Clint
This movie should be given Oscars . And one must be given for music. Should be awarded best movie of which ever year it was released.
best move All~time in the world%%thank you Clint Eastwood thank you Lee Van Cleef thank you Eli wallach thank you Sirgio leonie thank you Ennio morricone%%
There is some amazing charm in these movies.. Like a tour to history taken through your soul and you feel part of it.. Its so amazingly amazing
My ex husband and his dad worked with Clint Eastwood and they said he was one nicest person that they ever work for. My ex did security and his dad drove for Clint.
thats pretty cool !
Thats nice
Nice post
Others not so complimentary!
I’m from a 32 miles long, 8.5 miles wide island in the Pacific. My older brother and I “lived to watch Sergio Leone’s movies with Clint Eastwood” !!! Truly Love and Enjoyed his movies, “STILL DO TO THIS DAY” !!! 💞🌺
Great memories watching Clint Eastwood movie's with my Dad RIP... thank you.
Me too and my dad is 80 now , sorry about your dad
I think Clint should go back with his sons and tour the sets/locations today for a documentary. Would be a blast to watch his reactions at how things have changed.
+Giggidygiggidy12 i agree,it would be such a inspiration to his kids.
Giggidygiggidy12 african safari
Giggidygiggidy12 the Spanish have made the end scene location into a circus with clowns trying to act the part terrible
Clint is to old
Qulity of this video is bad
For all of us die-hard GBU fans (and I know there are plenty of us, seeing a lot of the same usernames on different GMU videos) , this is a priceless jewel! Thanks for posting it.
It’s been 14 years since your comment how are you?
Better than ever!! How are you? Nice of you to reach out after all this time 😊@@mariemg6719
من اروع واعظم الافلام التي شاهدتها في حياتي من حيث الموسيقي التصويرية والاخراج والتمثيل المتقن باحترافية ودقة وصدق في الادأ
The music is spellbinding, the actors Clint, Eli and Lee Van where magnificent, the whole film was fantastic from start to finish.....
One of the most epic movies of all time Clint Eastwood Van Cleef and Eli Wallach with a great team
Clint is the last one left from that era, and I'm going to dread the day when we read that he is no more...
It has been on my mind for a while too. I will be very sad on that day but also glad that he has made so many good movies and the world knew him and his many talents.
Ennio morricone is alive
@@Alesxandros Yes true, but Clint is Legendary!
@@steven-vn9ui well, eastwood is a legend among many legends....morricone is THE ONLY LEGEND of his century...so
Und Ennio Morricone my friend
That was absolutely awesome how they found all of those locations after all these years almost 50 yrs
Back packed around Spain for two weeks years ago loved it.
A good pleasure see it. That was absolutely awesome how they found all of those locations after all these years almost 60 yrs. Currently movie like that is impossible to do, because places like that is desappearing. Thanks Clint and Sergio. Western Admirers from São Paulo -Brazil
Awesome, absolutely love these superimposed pictures of then and now. There is a few great ones from this movie on UA-cam. Nostalgic as hell, would be deep to stand in some of those exact spots from the movie. To walk in the footsteps of Legends. Even my girls (10&7) can’t get enough of the Danish Orchestra playing this theme tune, its an incredible piece of music for an incredible film, just perfection. I recommend listening to them play it (really loud) the mind of a person to imagine, see &hear and put into music is beyond words. One of the best movies ever made.........still be getting airtime in another 50yrs for sure. They were some cool ass dudes.
When I was seventeen, I enjoyed this fantastic movie very much. Right now it's my good memory.
you paved your own way to the IMMORTALITY with this short movie.great job.
WOW!!! That was awesome. Thanks for going to all the trouble of making this. The tie in with the music score and stills from the movie really made this very enjoyable.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is my favorite film. Thanks You Tube forma this.
one of the best movies but definitely the best theme tune
This video scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Thank you.
THANK YOU ENNIO MORRICONE BRAVO.
Fantastic. Thank you for showing this.I went to Sad Hill about 3 years ago - approached it over the hill to the south from San Domingo and there it was as you crest the brow - thanks again.
Interesting "badlands" country in Almeria which appears to have changed little in 50 years. Spaghetti western filming was virtually continuous in Spain from the mid-1960's to early 70's and was a major boost for the moribund national economy of the late Franco era.
Just seeing this movie about 20 times, I feel they are part of my family What a great movie and the stars.,How real to life it was made, people, clothes, artillery. facial expressions, real dirt on the actors, I wonder if Clint ever went back and visit, to bad the other actors have passed away, .
Excellent job. Thanks so much. I especially like the way you panned the camera to mimic the path of Lee Van Cleef's ride as he approached the home of that soon to be unfortunate family.
ive been to where they blew the bridge up,went there by accident on my way to lago caspe rio ebro......i seen cardboard cut outs of clint tuco and angel eyes everywhere....stunning countryside some of the best drives of my life coming through the middle pyranees
thank you so much for posting....one of the best movies ever....
Felicitaciones, muy bien realizado. Gracias!!
Picture Quality could have been better, but an absolutely wonderful movie. Great to see the locations used and how they look now, this should be a feature used more often as an extra on DVD releases.
Oh man thanks for this upload. I was last week in Balanegra, and went to some of the sites. Awsome.
Wonderful video thanks
Love to visit this place at least once in life time.
Everlasting charm. I was thrilled when they played The Ecstacy of Gold in the last Football World Cup Finals.
Such a strange feeling watching these...sad,wistful just a myriad of feelings as I watch this. I'm sure many who grew up in the 70's feel the same way about these locations and the films in general. Leone and all of the directors of the great Italian films were pure genius. I miss these type of films. I hope that some new director with style and class(rare today)will realise that CGI isnt the only game in town and maybe we can see a great Spaghetti western made today..but never as good as 60's
teary eyes watching this grew up in the 70s best ever memories Im 64 has to be the best soundtrack of all time!thank you for posting it.
Sergio Leone ed Ennio Morricone saranno considerati per sempre patrimonio dell'umanità....
Very impressive. You went out of your way to recover those film moments. I thought they were lost in time. A hearty thank you for your time and effort to film these locations.
Any others ?
nice
Great job, this movie for some reason gives me the feeling that I have a connection to it in someway! Like an overwhelming desire to to Sad Hill and just stand there and look at the mountains. It’s very strange.
Marvelous! Nice musical montage! It is striking to see up to what point most sites did not change...
Just missing the hospital from the inside, which was filmed at St. Pedro de Arlanza monastery, just a few kilometers north of both Sad Hill and Betterville in real life.
Actually, there's less than a kilometer from the bridge scene to that place. I visited most of them last year and it's really worth it. A good drive as well.
Spain. More precisely Almería and Burgos.
+fadetounforgiven and more precisely Mijas and Cabo de Gata (Almería)
Enrique Expósito Not exactly, you're missing the places where they filmed in Burgos which, as I mentioned above, include the bridge, the prisoner camp, the inside of the hospital and, if all that was not enough, Sad Hill Cemetery.
fadetounforgiven can you tell me other location like gunshop and desert it was filmed in Spain only or other location too.
Excellent
This video should win some kind of UA-cam award! I mean, It's awesome!!!
this was amazing! ! ! Loved it, brought tears to my eyes....
I now know, it's not just me who loves those locations. :D
Nope
Yep same.
@@rafiqueahmedsadhozae8085 Agreed brother
Bravo! Bravissimo!
I agree..I watched the orchestra part on you tube very nice
its almost depressing... movies are mythmaking and ones like gbu become timeless and fixed... you hate to have it thrown in your face that these places were real and they have changed and aged...
its almost frightening... but you can't look away. it's deep. very deep. i call it nostagia...
nice work man. I wanna go there one day
Just brilliant 👍
A bit late but thank you very much for your effort. This is my favorite movie of all time.
Yes Favorit movie bruderhearth
One too
Super cette video.!!...bravo
Old movies are better than movies now
the graveyard seen in the final sequences was completely redone exactly the same as it was during shooting to commemorate the 50th anniversary in 2016 they did a heck of a job
Fantastic
Well Done.
Tuco, Blondie & Angeleyes would be proud!
great job ramone, this is so awesome thanks for your work, your time..
If I had the chance and money I'd love to visit all these beautiful locations
Veramente un gran bel lavoro. Complimenti!
it's a special place, looks so calm and serene, thanx
The music score is absolutely amazing 😉 👍
I know it was just a movie but you’re video makes it feel like real western history!
What a great video. I have to get the soundtrack to this movie, which I believe is the quintessential western film. Thanks for posting.
Truly wonderful, the cemetery at Sad Hill was the highlight for me. If you look closely you can still make out the circles of graves built I believe by the Spanish military. Like I said truly wonderful, thank you for posting ad all the work and effort.
Those locations are a lot greener now compared to then when you filmed this.
Gran trabajo. ¡Enhorabuena!
It saddens me, because my mind is caught in the movie and time has made the land move on. I want the characters and I want the props/production. I want it to stay in time.
Yet,,,,my mirror has also moved on. Thank to all who made this movie. We miss the classics....
Wonderful. Thanks dear
Excellent. Very well done. I really enjoyed the video.
The old west back in the day before you could be tracked by satalight and your Iphone-----and you survived by your wits!!! oh and this movie was indeed Outstanding!!!
I'm crying inside because the end is near now for Clint Eastwood.. 😢 I'm a filipino and I love western movies. Clint is my favorite Cowboy after John wayne and Glen ford
Me too lol
Everything changes in time. Time has the beautiful scenery yet merciless!
So awesome and amazing
I love Mr Clint Eastwood from Pakistan
Yeah. An amazing actor. My father praises and talks of his movies most of thw time.
Me from Bangladesh, your neighbor country.
Vivo en Madrid y mi familia es de Almería. Cuantos recuerdos me traen estas películas rodadas allí. Un Saludo.
Thank you so very much for this video, it was well made very well. Again, much thanks.
Thanks for the tour of the locations. I enjoyed your video and is a job well done.

Thank you for the video, the best Western movie best music of all times. In my humble opinion.
Just hearing the music gives me chills. Ennio Morricone's music score is the star in this film
Ennio Morricone made these dollars trilogy ,theme songs are legendary
Fun to watch the crazy ass stunts they did in this film.
Great photography, editing, scoring and most of all .... subject.
To the eternity 💝☘️ God bless you for this video Very emotional.Greetings From Serbia 💓
ENNIO MORRICONE'S MUSICAL COMPOSITION IN THESE UNIQUE WESTERNS MADE IN THE 1960s & 1970s WAS MAGNIFICENT. HE INVENTED THE GENRE. THEY DO NOT MAKE FILMS LIKE THIS ANY MORE. HE DIED LAST WEEK 06/07/2020 IN ROME, AGED 91-YEARS. ITALY IS IN MOURNING.
It sure looks a lot greener than it did in '66.
They took the cobblestones out where the final shootout was. That must have been some work.
The greatest movies made thanks 😀😀😀👍👍👍💞😀
Congratulations on one of the most enjoyable videos online. One of my favourite films, and this is now one of my favourite You Tubers. :-)
Great stuff ..love to see these places
Just been today to the location near Tabernas in Almeria, great place to visit for all Clint fans. Really well worth the time and effort. Make sure you go to the Cinema Studios Fort Bravo and not the place with the Zoo nearby.
Love the film and the music.
