You didn’t take it serious. He was under investigation a year ago for threats.
Who is "you"? If you mean the feds, you are correct.
Sad the dad and kid as well had to learn the hard way.
Glowies are above the law.
The “year ago” when he gave his son the weapon in 2023 ?
If you mean the FBI than yes, local PD had nothing to do with it
Again we have proof officials knew of this threat and allowed it to happen anyway.
In April 2024, James and Jennifer Crumbley were sentenced to 10-15 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of four Oxford High School students. The Crumbleys are the first parents to be convicted in the United States for their child's mass school shooting.
On November 30, 2021, Ethan Crumbley, the Crumbleys' 15-year-old son, shot and killed four students and injured seven others. The victims were Justin Shilling, 17; Hana St. Juliana, 14; Madisyn Baldwin, 17; and Tate Myre, 16. The prosecution argued that the shooting was preventable because the Crumbleys ignored their son's mental health needs and bought him the gun used in the shooting. The Crumbleys were found guilty of having an unsecured gun at home and being indifferent to their son's mental health.
This guy will be thier prison PenPals..

@@fancythat5136 I believe so yes.
It's because the Law is clear, you can't own a rifle or a shotgun until you are 16 years old. Anybody under 16 has to be under an adults supervision while touching a firearm.
I'm so glad that they are starting to arrest the irresponsible adults. Who lets a 14 year old take a weapon to school?
Republicans
Who the hell with even a working brain soul get a gun as a gift for his 14 year old child. Who the hell does that. How about clothes or shoes or gifts like that. If you can keep in control with guns as it is why a personal gift like this. People get a grip. No kid needs to have a gun of their own. Mental problems or not
It’s not the gun, my dad bought me guns before the age of 12 and I never made threats ever.. it’s a mental health issue period…

I definitely think media has a huge impact on kids mental health now a days seriously from my generation and up I myself can say media influenced me in a lot of ways and changed how my brain developed 100 percent
🤔WHAT DO YOU THiNK CHANGED IN OUR SOCiETY ?
Unfortunately, in every school shooting, someone with a pistol, a rifle, a semi-automatic, or an automatic firearm IS involved.
@@bobbyd.6652Godlessness! Social media. Violent video games….
I'm very pro 2A, but I don't support irresponsible gun owners. If your son has mental issues and has previously made threats, maybe he shouldn't have access to dangerous weapons. The father is just as responsible as his son for these murders. He is an enabler.
Good for Georgia! These minors are the responsibility of their parents. They know their children the best and are responsible to help them when they struggle.
The dad said he went to the school over and over again and just like most of the schools they agree to deal with it but the schools never do anything. The school staff always turns that blind eye. It was also said in an earlier video that he actually said he was going to shoot’em up in 2023. The school knew this and again did nothing. No matter the size of the shooter, if you have 3 or 4 bullies bullying a person what is he to do and this could have been going on year after year after year. The principal had the right to call police as soon as he made the verbal threat. The whole thing just makes me so sick and those poor parents that lost their children. I cry and pray for children in the school.
Your child has to be 16 years old to own and have a long gun. At 14 he has to be under adult supervision while having a gun. I agree with this it's the Law. It starts with the parents. The shooter was only 14. The teachers will get back on the horse and teach the children girls can be boys and boys can be girls.
Why dont we have security protection at schools just as government buildings do?
This is a no brainer simple solution...a dark reason for not protecting our most treasured, our kids!
Democrats turned down that measure every single time.
Thanks, Joe!

Simple, the politicians want bribes to enact a political agenda, and they don't really care about anyone's lives.

1. The school, for missing obvious signs of a mentally unstable student.

How can they make him surrender his weapons when he had committed no crime? His son said someone hacked his account and posted those threats. No, @zachschaefer3824, the blame lies with the parents, those who routinely vote down reasonable gun laws, and those who have the gall to think that blowing animals away with an assault rifle constitutes sport. Oh, and don't forget:
1. The shooter just moved to the school district and the father DID NOT inform the school about the prior investigation.
2. The year before, the FBI and local authorities reported and investigated the situation as far as they could per law and in line with "innocent until proven guilty."
3. What parent ignores FBI warnings about their child's mental instability and public threats, and THEN ALLOWS THEM TO BE NEAR A GUN, A RIFLE, OR AN AUTOMATIC ASSAULT WEAPON... EVER!
