Radiatied areas and scattered waste barrels...nuclear fallout... mutated animals and insects the size of dogs running around...feral ghouls with charred skin, stalking the woods and urban areas...people trying to eke out an existence in the burned out husk of a high rise, while enjoying a half empty can of dog food, but still keeping their ears and eyes open for wandering scavengers and blood-thirsty raiders...remorseless killer robots only seeking to destroy...supermutants bent on the eradication of all human beings...deathclaw mostrosities who could swipe your head off with but a flick of their clawed hands... But yeah, you think it's not a horror setting unless we have some knife-weilding clown, vampire, etc.
