How did you know the thermistor was faulty ? How did you test it ?

I know it's been 5 years but is this why mine at final rinse won't stop running is it that sensor or could it be a bad capacitor?
I doubt it would be a bad capacitor or the unit wouldn't run. Without knowing the exact model, I would see if your unit has a turbidity sensor. Also, do not prewash the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher.
