As far as I know, that physical formation helps to draw the bow more efficiently by using the gravity and the scapula for full draw. As you may know, the draw length of traditional Korean bow is much longer than recurve and compound bow. Looking forward to more advanced explanation from somebody of the expert...
Traditional Korean archery event round consists of 3 ends in general. And one end consists of 5 arrows. Because this event is for grade promotion among from the 1st grade to 9th, there was no winner. There is minimum points for each grade, and the archer stops shooting any time in case they shot qualified score. In case of normal tournament, there happens perfect score of 15 points of 3 to 5 archers. In that case, there will be shoot-off game to the final. Thanks!!
