    I hooked up my new XYZ INVT 2500w 12v inverter to my LFP 600ah bank and tested the output voltages across Live-Neutral, Live-Ground and Neutral-Ground. Got the expected 123v on Live-Neutral, but measure 60v-61v between Live-Ground and also between Neutral-Ground!!!! Got hold of support and they say that these are "virtual" voltages with no real current, and is normal! Seems to work OK, so thought this might be interesting to anyone checking their new installation....

      Thanks but why would the inverter manual or installation guide not mention this?
      I have received different advice, which is that this is a center-tqp transformer inverter where the ac output cannot be bonded.

    The three wires coming out the inverter are they on a separate circuit from the other two. Appreciate your help. I'm thinking about buying the 2500. John

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  Рік тому +1

      I believe they are separated. The terminal block connection will allow you to pull the full 2500W. Just make sure you use the proper sized wire.

    2500 watt divided by 12v is almost 200 amp, so 2/0 gauge, right ? Plus 200 amp T fuse on positive hot side at battery, right ?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  Рік тому +1

      If you are looking to pass NAC standards yes you are correct. For a off-grid system 2 gauge wire will handle the load.
      A "T class" class fuse it unnecessary as this is a 12.8V nominal battery less than 36V a ANL fuse will work just fine.
      Thank you for the comment I will add a note in the description of my video.
