Poor old Cloughie. He aged rapidly after 1990. I always remember him as this tough nonsense figure who didn't take shit from no one. He was such a great character in the game. Since Cloughie retired, English football hasn't been the same. RIP Brian.

This league cup trophy was looking better than the tinpot shape of the trophy today... Why did they had to replace this with the tinpot one today? Im not even going to talk about the changes of the title event in an era after era like Worthington, Carling, Carabao or etc, etc..

What a great little side Joe Royle put together at Oldham in the late 80s early 90s. Strange seeing back passes to the goalkeeper being picked up. Great to see these matches being put up by Forest. Watched the 5-0 thrashing of Norwich in 1991. Great club Forest. Clough was a genius. Flawed but brilliant.

Denis Irwin was a cracking full back, subsequently proved his worth with Man Utd time and time again. When did you ever see him dip below 7/10? Just a pity Oldham are in such a state now

Late 80s early 90s Forest were the best cup side in the country. It's actually insane how well they in the knockout format in spite of their often topsy turvey league form.

A great effort from Oldham, but when Forest scored, Oldham fell apart. Not Forest's best performance, but they had dependable players such as Pearce, Walker, Chettle, Hodge, Parker and Crosby.
