Give Dollie a treat every time she sits on her new couch. She will eventually get to where that’s her favorite place. Those mammoth curtains are so beautiful and perfect. And WOW what a difference painting the handles made! 🤍🤍🤍🤍
You are such an amazing woman! Your energy level is beyond anything….don’t know how you manage all you do. So…I’m nominating you for an Academy Award for being such an inspiration for ALL WOMEN! Let’s go ladies. We can do this 👏🏻👏🏻
This feels like when I try these projects. I'm so glad you included the delays for items, the mistakes, things like the sewing machine not working, the curtain rod falling, etc. It happens to me all the time and I always wonder, "Why can't I get things done without all the trouble like everyone else?" But now I see, everyone runs into bumps just like me. It just makes you more that relateable and makes me want to keep going even if I run into trouble.
I love the obstacles you overcame! "Success is determined not by whether or not you face obstacles, but by your reaction to them". This quote is attributed to Ben Carson
Dolly doesn't want a new chair, she found her spot. Same thing happened to us. We love our fur babies!! The curtains look very elegant. Thank you for the video.
Just wanted to say you are looking so good lately. You've always been beautiful but recently you are looking like your old healthy self. It makes my heart happy for you. ❤️
Love the grids and people do say you are creating more pictures to see through. Dolly is lucky to have the dog bed and eventually I believe she will like her own space. Especially when the room is full of people. The drapes are also perfect. You did an amazing job.
It is obvious that you put so much love and care into everything you do. I am sorry you had a rough time. Your home is beautiful and you make it even more beautiful because of your heart.
Oh my word! Great job on the panes and the curtains! I cant believe all the work you did on the drapes, but boy they look so good! There is nothing you can’t do - you are truly amazing!❤
Thanks for showing those hiccups! It’s encouraging to see everything doesn’t always go as planned in YT world! You are definitely a trooper tackling that curtain panel! You did a great job!
This is absolutely gorgeous, what an amazing transformation! The only thing to say is... You're BRILLIANT! Lol and Dolly... good luck! She knows she's the queen and she will choose her own throne!😂😂😂💖💖
I think precious little Dolly isn't giving up her comfy chairs. She has them formed to her little body. I hope she loves the new.. Her precious little sweetie will have her own chair. She is a cutie. 🙏✝️🐕🙏
STUNNING!!!! I am AMAZED at how much this changed the look of those doors. It went from "Sliding doors" "Elegant Entryway " Absolutely beautiful and yes, it elevated it SOOOOO much. WOW! I didn't know this could be done, but, I WILL be doing it.
Full disclosure, when I started watching this video, I didn’t think I would like the “panes” on the door. HOWEVER, WOW! IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Great job Natalee!
Oh my! What a time you had. It's good to see that those minor setbacks even happen to you. You showed us "not" to give up till the job is complete. Absolutely beautiful transformation. I just might try putting the grid on my patio doors.
I just love watching your channel! The sliders look fantastic with the grid pattern. And as for Miss Dolly, perhaps if you put her little blanket on the chair/ pillow where she likes to perch herself it will get her smell on that blanket. And you can transfer it to her bedding. Or take one of the boys used t-shirts with their smell on it and put it on her little sofa so she is drawn to it. Good luck. Keep us posted in the future about Dolly moving to her location.
Oh, NataLee, those doors look so much more high-end. What a great idea!! The curtains look wonderful!! You're a "Jill" of all trades with the patience of Job! And a smile all along. 😊 Oh. My. Word. DIY Dollie's bed is adorable! Good luck getting her to change. Take care beautiful lady and God bless you and yours. ❤❤
The peel & stick molding is genius. The drapes are the perfect finishing touch. The room looks amazing. Your perseverance is a good reminder to me to keep after the little projects around my house to give it the perfect finishing touch, even when I hit roadblocks.
I was stressed just watching all the crazy stuff keeping you from having a smooth finish. I just hate that when things like this happen. But you did a great job and it all looks so beautiful.
Is there anything that you can't do?!! I love the grids, it completely changed the look of your room and it was already sooo nice. It is my opinion that you performed a miracle....I had faith in you the entire time!!
There aren’t enough adjectives to describe you!! But two I really like are: inspirational and adorable! You are so good at your job! The doors look grand and those drapes are awesome! You amaze me how you accomplish so much and you always seem so joyful! Sweet Dolly is so precious! I hope she leans to enjoy that doggie chair! She looks so cute in it, but she also looks cute on the back of YOUR chair! I have a little Shi Szu named Scarlett Grace and she has been my best buddy since my husband of almost fifty years passed away in Oct 2022. I could have a visit from you and Lisa if I lived in your area…..from the other cookie video. I haven’t ever put frozen orange juice in my dough but may give that a try. The cookies looked yummy! Thank you for letting us see the real you! You are appreciated! Nana Brenda
Regarding your video on the rental house in Arizona…where the wall was bowed behind the bathroom vanity countertop, here is a solution. Instead of or in addition to filling the gap with caulk, put a strip of quarter round trim. The PVC trim works really nicely because it has natural flex, and it is available in several profiles which can add some interest. I used the PVC ( not absolutely certain they are PVC, but some sort of plastic), baseboards and trim in my laundry room and bathrooms because it is excellent in damp environments. It looks great and is easy to work with after a short learning session. You have to cut it “fast” on your chop saw or the heat from the blade friction melts a bit. Cost wise I think it is fairly comparable to MDF, might be a bit more, but it can withstand splashes from the bath without degrading. I wish I didn’t have a whole garage full of tools, I would certainly buy yours. Maybe when my “house drill” dies I will replace it.
Natalee, I so enjoyed this episode, well of course, I always do. But I felt so bad when I suddenly laughed out loud when the rod fell. Then when it fell again I laughed even harder. After all the other issues and that happening just was laughable to see it happen to someone else besides me. And the look on your face. I really enjoy your show and the things that you make and do. I just want to sit down with you and Lisa and talk decorating and crafting. I'm glad you get to live so much closer to each other. I bet you love it. Keep up the wonderful work. May the next project be less eventful. 😁
I totally agree with you. Your sliding doors look amazing. I love the grid lines. You definitely took it up 20 notches. The curtains are beautiful. You ran into a lot of issues, but in the end, it was so worth it because everything looks amazing. Oh, and Dollee is so cute. I think she may like your furniture better than hers because yours sit higher. 😊
You really out did yourself. The sliding doors and the curtains look so beautiful. Pat yourself on the back. You did awesome job. So proud of you, for not quitting, when things were not going your way. Beautiful just beautiful.♥️🧓😘
The couch you bay for Dollie is adorable I love the living home curtains and the D I Y in the door at the living room look gorgeous . Thank you to sharing your living room upgrade I love🥰🥰🥰🥰
This was definitely an exercise in patience and persistence!! How you carried on without resorting to profanities shows extreme discipline. I would have sworn like Phoebe Buffay playing Miss Pacman! IYKYK 😆
Only you could do those curtains right! I would have had those things soooooo messed up 😂😂 Dolly is such a sweetheart❤ good luck trying to change her favorite places to sleep!
I love that you got Dollie her own little seat. I’ve had little dogs and they have always loved sitting on the back of our chairs. They like being up high so they can see everything. I hope her little chair works out for you.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ everything came out so nice and yes the doors look amazing so much different than the original🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I also like Miss Dolly's new sofa chair but I'm thinking at some point maybe you'll make another one because your house is so big and she needs more than one🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love everything you did! The grid absolutely elevates the look! And, seeing you facing challenges as you work on a project makes it real life. 😊 Love DIY Dollee!!❤
Ahhhh, cute little Dollie! I think she's gonna warm up to the little sofa. And all the hurdles you had to cross to get to the finish line with your window/door/drapes was worth it!! Love the finished product. Great job! Love your channel.
Natalee, I remember when my mom made this type of drapes and how aggravating that tape and those pins were. I can’t believe these are ‘coming back’ into style! I will never mess with those things again. Of course, we laundered them at home. You made it look so easy, though.and, it looks beautiful at your doors. Congrats, Dollee, on your new sofa, you darling girl.
Awwww Dollee is such a cutie!! Your window treatments look excellent, great job NataLee!!! I don’t feel like this obstructs you view at all, very elegant!💕💕💕💕💕
Wow!! It looks beautiful! You're tenacity is admirable. I would have probably thrown that curtain rod across the room 😂 Great job as always, the color of the curtains against the doors really highlights the beautiful trim you did. I agree it looks very high-end.
You’re such an inspiration to me, showing us women we definitely do more than we think we can! The grids on the doors may have me attempting them on my 4 Panel sliding doors one day, they are gorgeous! Thank you for always giving me confidence that I can do it! Fingers crossed Miss DIY Dollee loves her sofa more! 💕
Thanks, Natalee I love watching you, I get so excited watching you that it makes me want to try some of the things that you make you are so amazing NO matter how hard it gets you just keep going
This is absolutely beautiful and such a great idea. This has made such a huge impact on the look of the glass doors. Everyone should do this to their patio sliding doors. It has a huge wow factor in my opinion. Dolly is so precious. I love her new couch and it looks like she does too. We had our precious Buddy and Skittles for 17 years and they always had their own beds. They were never allowed on the furniture and they never seemed to want to get on the furniture. They always seemed to like having their own space. I miss them and I sometimes think about getting another dog but It’s difficult when I travel. I’ll just enjoy my grand dogs for now. Have a fabulous week. 🥰
Hi Natalie Love the Room it is beautiful. You always do such great work I wish I could do some of the things that you do You rock girl as far as your Dolly goes My daughter is a dog trainer She said as long as you continue to work with her when she's sitting on your couch say No and put her or show her where you want her to set Keep working with her and yes you can get her trained for her own chair thank you for sharing with us
There’s nothing you can’t do! I truly believe that!! You are such an inspiration for anyone..the curtains look beautiful 😍 and I love the doors too! I have the same problem with my cat, he has a beautiful little couch, but prefers my new couch and Mackenzie-Child pillows😂😂 your home is beautiful 😍 Thanks so much for sharing!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love the grids on the doors!! I think I will copy that!! I have about the same amount of luck when doing a project! Running out of something, something breaking, etc.! Everything turned out beautifully. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Not sure why you ordered the really long length and not just 2 panels but it came out so great and the windows too look so professional - lovely room ❤❤❤
You are such a a great example of pushing through despite obstacles and WOW, what lovely results! Can’t wait to see your lovely room decorated for Christmas!
You are absolutely and amazingly talented! And then you also show us that even you have the problem with the darn curtain rods! I just love you thank you for all you do❤❤
The drapes look beautiful. I like the windows/doors grids. How do you like your new sewing machine? Miy singer is over 20 years. It still is great but I bought it new as the machines the schools use to teach sewing. It was over 400.00 then. I'm now old and want something that helps me think. Lol In regards to Miss Dolly. She wants to be higher up. She has found her site lines that help her keep her eyes on the family and anyone else. I have 4 rescues that have stuck instead of moving on to adoption. I have always had leather furniture in my living room. Great for pups. Only one of them lived on the leather. I purchased a new fabric sectional. All of a sudden, all 4 dogs found their perfect spot on my sofa . Thank goodness I thought ahead and ordered some heavy pet sofa covers. I hope you get my humor.
What a transformation Natalie! I love the grids because it removes the concept of the regular patio sliders and the drapes and cornice board are just gorgeous. I would have given up on the drapes probably at the beginning but you are one patient and determined person. My children said I became a different person when i started sewing and it wasn’t meant in complimentary way. Dolly’s bed and blanket are just adorable and I hope it helps if not I guess you better invest in a good upholstery cleaning machine. 😊❤😊
Once again amazing 🤗, Dolly is going to love her sofa , find something with your sent on it for her to curl up and feel she’s with you . Take care xx x
Your drapes look amazing. That was a difficult job. Sorry you had so many obstacles. Love to see Dollee. Hope she’ll love her couch. A treat on there once in awhile might help. Wow we saw your mom face! lol. Love watching your channel.
I have a German Shepherd that won't stay off my couch. I got her a large elevated dog bed hoping she would like it. She doesn't use it so I got a mat that makes noises so she would stay off it and she just pulls it off and uses the couch anyway. She only does it when we are not in there. If she hears us coming, she gets down.😂 😂😂 32:59 😂 32:59
Your just amazing💎 No way I could handle the beautiful drapes...you did great, they look so beautiful... Love the sliders, what a difference that makes..And of course love Dollee's chair, so sweet. She's so precious. I could never live without my fur babies, they give us so much love❤💓💕 That room looks so warm, and cozy now. Christmas is going to be fabulous🎄🎀
NataLee, I admire your can-do attitude and willingness to stretch yourself to achieve your design goals for your home. You may have said in a previous video, but I wanted to ask you where your living room chairs came from. I like the style very much. My dog also commands her post on the back of one of our chairs. She looks out the window and is our early warning system. 😉
W-O-W! another stunner! Im in awe of your ever expanding abilities. Those curtains would have me so intimidated and I've been sewing for longer than you are old. 🤣🤣
You have taught me many things. The most important thing is to just roll with it and where there's a will there's a way. Thank you so much for always hanging in there.
Your persistence paid off. What an amazing job 👍🏼👏🏼 Dolly probably like sitting up high. Maybe every time Dolly sits on her chair give her a treat & tell her she is a good girl & if she goes back to your sofa repeat no & encourage her to go to her chair. Hope you get to change her.
What an upgrade on the doors! I think it definitely makes it look more of a highend look. Those curtains were a big project, but they turned out beautiful as well. I hope dolly makes the transition
I absolutely love the windows and curtains Natalee, you did a fantastic job. ❤ Although the seat you bought for dolly is aesthetically nice to look at, you might find the reason she doesn’t sit on it is because it is too hard. The back of the sofa is squishy. Try getting one that’s very soft, she can sink in to. (Similar to the cushion on the couch)
Even after the ops lol, your room is completely stunning. The grids on the sliding doors really completes the room really made a hugh difference. Bravo .🙂👍❤ Let's hope DIY Dolly loves her new couch.
Give Dollie a treat every time she sits on her new couch. She will eventually get to where that’s her favorite place. Those mammoth curtains are so beautiful and perfect. And WOW what a difference painting the handles made! 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Dolly is a little princess and she will do as she wishes lots of luck
and rightly so!

I love the grid on the doors it evaluates them to a new level.......
The change is AMAZING! I absolutely love the new look, it is stunning. Good job!!!!!

The curtain installation was so real! Especially if you are working alone.😸
Oh my! What a time you had. It's good to see that those minor setbacks even happen to you. You showed us "not" to give up till the job is complete. Absolutely beautiful transformation. I just might try putting the grid on my patio doors.
🎯
Love the all window treatment. Your patience is unmatched

I totally feel you! Sometimes you just gotta embrace the chaos and keep going. 😉
Your persistence through the many setbacks was amazing. The end result is beautiful and so inviting ❤
Dolly is so cute we have a little dog and he has his favorite place to lay and he loves loves soft blankets so good luck with getting Dolly to change
Wow Nat. The grids updated your doors. And your curtains came out beautiful. Looks like Dolly likes her new couch. So so adorable.
Conduit pipe for curtains. Paint or use rub n buff. Love Dollee’s new comfy chair. I hope she loves it, too!
Is there anything that you can't do?!! I love the grids, it completely changed the look of your room and it was already sooo nice. It is my opinion that you performed a miracle....I had faith in you the entire time!!

You are amazing. You don’t give up. The window turned out beautiful. Keep moving Dollee to her bed. You have to retrain her.
I love that you are a real woman just trying to save a buck. Save us money to have our dream homes on a budget.
Gorgeous. I admire your tenacity, you "Got 'er Done".
Good luck with Dollee and her bed. 🐾 I think they like to be up higher so they can see more. ❤
It looks beautiful. I felt for you putting drapes up. It happens to me all the time
Wow verry nice Natalee ❤
I totally agree with you. Your sliding doors look amazing. I love the grid lines. You definitely took it up 20 notches. The curtains are beautiful. You ran into a lot of issues, but in the end, it was so worth it because everything looks amazing. Oh, and Dollee is so cute. Dollee loves the chair because of the height...you're such a good dog Mom!!!
You had quite a few obstacles in the video Natalee! But you came through with flying colors…your living room is beautiful! 😊
IYKYK 😆
It looks great. Idk about that lil lantern. Too small it doesn’t elevate the room. The grids!!👏
Little lantern is on the back patio. ;)
I agree with you-the sliding glass doors look terrific!

Ahhhh, cute little Dollie! I think she's gonna warm up to the little sofa. And all the hurdles you had to cross to get to the finish line with your window/door/drapes was worth it!! Love the finished product. Great job! Love your channel.
Conduit, 3/4 inch thin wall pipe makes the best longer curtain rods. I love the grid in the windows.
Awwww Dollee is such a cutie!! Your window treatments look excellent, great job NataLee!!! I don’t feel like this obstructs you view at all, very elegant!💕💕💕💕💕
Sliders and drapes look beautiful, great job! As for Dollee, she seems to love her little couch as does my dog loves hers.
Such a beautiful room. I love the four chairs for intimate conversations! If I were to ever re-do my living space, I would do the exact same thing.
Wow!! It looks beautiful! You're tenacity is admirable. I would have probably thrown that curtain rod across the room 😂 Great job as always, the color of the curtains against the doors really highlights the beautiful trim you did. I agree it looks very high-end.
Beautiful! Just like everything you do. She sure seems to love her sofa.
You’re such an inspiration to me, showing us women we definitely do more than we think we can! Love the grid! You did an EXCELLENT job with everything and little Dolly, she is ADORABLE!
You did a fantastic job and yes the grid looks great. Hope Dolly adjust to ‘her’ new lounging sofa.
Wow, those window panes are beautiful. An architect Christopher Alexander, wrote a tome about pleasing forms in architecture and that is one of them.

Your sliding doors look great!!!!! And Dolly seems to love her new couch!! xoxo
I love it, curtains/window grid, and of course Dolee’s seat. You did an amazing job💕🦋
Thanks for showing the setbacks! It makes it easier to know professionals have setbacks!!!
You totally amaze me! Is there anything you can’t do? ❤
I think it look absolutely beautiful. Now Dolly well she can sit where she wants 😂❤❤❤
Doggies do what doggies want. And we still love them 😊
What a transformation Natalie! 😊❤😊
You sweated blood over this! Good job, and supreme determination to successfully complete!
So glad you enjoyed the video! That drape project was a challenge, but worth it!
I love your windows and curtains they look so good. I just love Dolly. I think she will be easy to train to sit on her couch ( it's the cutest).
You are so amazing. You must have the patience of a saint. Thanks you for sharing this beautiful makeover.
When the rod fell the second time i would have yelled for my husband to help...LOL. How frustrating was that.. but you persevered!
It definitely was a test of patience! LOL.
What an upgrade on the doors! I think it definitely makes it look more of a highend look. Those curtains were a big project, but they turned out beautiful as well. I hope dolly makes the transition
Thank you! I'm so glad you like the upgrades and the curtains. I hope you enjoy the video!
I love what you did to the sliding doors. I love how you show us how to do things as you go. Thank you ❤
Wow! I love the grids! Great job on curtains…what a trying time you had! I hope Dollee loves her new couch!
Even after the ops lol, your room is completely stunning. The grids on the sliding doors really completes the room really made a hugh difference. Bravo .🙂👍❤ Let's hope DIY Dolly loves her new couch.
