She followed up saying something (along the lines of) about how she knows people who have been victims of abuse and to always remember to get help if you are in an abusive relationship. She was asked her opinion on his music and he said she was fully entitled to say she didn't like it for the way he speaks about women however, to say she heard something through the media and then talk about him as an abuser pissed him off.

I fux with Eminem. But there’s so many incidents where the cause is just him being either sensitive or petty AF😂
Nobody knew at the time that he’d just gotten remarried to Kim that’s why he was p1$$ed. because of her comments the press, media and paparazzi started to intrude on his personal life, even going through his trash to find any proof that backed up Xtina’s claims about him being married.
Everyone knew when he first started out that he had not long divorced Kim, but nobody but the people closest to him knew that they had gotten back together and remarried to try and make it work for their children (including the two that Em adopted with Kim that included Em’s niece.) he didn’t want his actual private business apart from the lawsuits with his mom out for the public to pick apart which then caused him to write “I Am” because they wouldn’t leave him alone in public when he was out with his daughters just spending time with them before he had to go on tour again.
Xtina’s remarks and comments brought a whole lot of trouble to Em’s door that he didn’t want and that’s why he retaliated and called her out because it affected his children and was one of the reasons why Kim ended up turning back to dru6$ because she couldn’t handle all the pressure of being followed everywhere by the paparazzi which in turn caused Em to file for divorce a second time as well as full custody for all the children.
Both shouldn’t have said what they said at the time, but Xtina was more in the wrong for outing Em’s personal life with them both being two of the biggest musical artists at the time. She should have just left it at “I think he’s cute” and never should have mentioned anything about him being married. She loses it when anyone talks about her child in interviews or brings up her failed marriage, now she knows how it feels when she did the exact same thing to Em.
They’ve reportedly made up last year and everything is good between them, both apologized for what they both did and said all them years ago, and she can understand why he got so upset because her comments ended up bringing his then young children and now ex wife into something that was nothing to do with them. They was photographed at the Super Bowl together and she also showed her support by posting his part of the performance on her social media accounts.
Put it down to them both being youngish and $7up1d at the time and speaking before thinking about what they was going to say.
Em has also said he’s too old for this $h1t to be holding grudges for ridiculous things when he’s got bigger things and issues to be dealing with!
