Jolly Rogers 907 is racing a brand new Sprintec boat in Wanaka New Zealand. Jetsprint racing is extremely challenging and this track is one of the toughest with 38 turns and 7 times through the same intersection. 3 qualifying rounds followed by eliminations. - Авто та транспорт
Being a kiwi now residing in Canada, I get a lot of joy watching you enjoy New Zealand Jetsprint racing. Hope you pull off a podium in the next round, thanks for bringing us all along for the ride.

Lou on the start ramp has been doing it for many years, she is part of RSQKRU Inc who follow jet sprint racing through out New Zealand as the safety support team. They have travelled to Australia to show their techniques to the rest of the world. I was a founding member of the team. In New Zealand Jet Sprinting, if you are not competing for the national championship you may race your boat against the rest in competition, just means you don't get the points at the end.

Oh yeah! The nose on that boat just comes down on launch and sticks. Gotta be different than your other boat and I imagine takes some getting used to. Looking forward to more from NZ and later Webb's in person.

Man that island is beautiful, I'd love to go back some day and see some more of the landscape, some cool hunts down there. Keep grinding, that boat is only going to get better. That layout is nuts, usually watching I figure out the layout after watching a couple runs, but it just keeps going. Boat looks to be running decent for a first round.

You guys are learning that boat fast !!! Like to see it. I wanted to mention I watch all your helm or in boat cams and sit here and say I could do that then you added the crowd shot which really shows how dam fast you are going. Hats off guys!!! For the water on your glasses I use a ceramic coating like you would put on your car, it's hydrophobic so with that and the wind the lenses should stay pretty clear.
You should give it a go! Only one way to find out 😉

Love the sprint racing videos you do Eric. I keep thinking we need to somehow start sprint racing here in Ireland, though there are literally only 3 mini jet boats here and I own all of them….

Being there the wind on the day was bad... Given the course location on the edge of a valley didn't help.... Love the shelter belt jet sprint track Wanganui at least wind won't be an issue there... Great from a spectators point of view as well watching you guys race..

Did you notice the straight 6 2jz boat had 2 big dumps coming off the pump intake with check valves to help with reversion. They definitely chopped the throttle really hard and in definitely seemed to not be a problem.
I saw the barra boat had that. Essentially watergates for the pump.

You drove well. It sucks going the wrong way, especially if it's due to spray, Meremere is surrounded by a big hill so the wind is minimal there and also the islands are high, pretty much eliminating the spray entirely. I did see after your cock up on your rotation you did not get any more hand signals and the same on the second screw up. Dam i wish i had known you where coming over i would have travel 3 hour to come and see plus to shack your hand... Good vids on both channels ... Cheers john

P.S. You don't need data to drive...lol....you should be able to drive and feel by what the boat is doing 'by the seat of your pants' or your ass in other words.
Data is used for engine tuning 👍
Data is always helpful, steering angle, throttle angle, jet pressure, g force, etc, are all good to know so you can relate it to your driving experience and see what needs improving
