Utilizing 12 cameras, the RCSparks Studio immerses you in a unique Two DAY Radio Control Hobby world that is Gas Powered & 1/5th scaled. Down and Dirty and packed full of high-flying action - these highlights are from the races that took place in Alberta Canada August 29th & 30th 2015.
These massive Monsters are extremely powerful and they need a LOT of land to stretch out and power down! Welcome to our backyard race track where every summer we host a heck of a private prairie party! All of these racers are invited, and this is at no cost to them. No cost to race, no cost to be there. Just come and have fun! Extreme weather is always a risk - but we want to see as many people smile as possible. This year, it happened and it was fantastic!
Most of the vehicles you see in this video are called "Losi 5ive T's". Not too many of them are left as stock, and each driver modifies and tunes their trucks to be the best they can be. They are powered from Gasoline and have a battery that powers the Servos that move the wheels, the Speed Controllers (Basically the brain) and the Radio Signals. They are fairly complicated to new users, but are a graduation in the RC world to a "higher level".. haha!
Ever wonder what it was like to rip around a race track in a giant short course truck? Our onboard cameras will capture the action for you - and literally put you right in the race.
I have left out music in most of this video, to really give you a feel for the raw sound and power these machines produce. Each one of these machine is valued at $2500 - $6000 each. Depends on the modifications and the customizations installed. REMEMBER - You CAN PLAY YOUR OWN MUSiC OVER IT!
I have chosen to make this video over 30 minutes in length for multiple reasons.
#1- Hardcore racers, or Newbies who are 1/5th scale curious - this video will satisfy your RC needs..!
#2 - The Final Race on the Second day was 30 Minutes Long
#3 - For you to enjoy something fun while you are wrenching on your rigs.
#4 - For all the Moms/Dads/Grandparents who write to me saying that they can squeeze in a shower, a phone call, or have a visitor while my longer videos entertain the kids

rc sparks inspired me to get into the hobby and buy a slash 4x4 so thanks so much rc sparks for getting me into the hobby, at first i didnt know i was getting alot of replacment parts that broke but now nothing breacks anymore!

+RCSparks Studio™ You were not kidding when you told me you had some more awesome footage! man that crossover tabletop caused some serious carnage, it seems the heavier 5Ts compared to the Bajas, fly nose down. they get kicked hard in the rear, a few guys found the sweet spot off the left side. again Aaron, Medic, RC Sparks, RC adventures, your awesome. so glad that you shared all of that footage with us, my only gripe is project LARGE did not make an appearance. maybe next year.

Hey Medic, been watching your stuff for years, I know this video kinda old but i didn't see anything in the comments, but if you working on that track and it gets too muddy try some sawdust blanketed over the track the sawdust will soak up any excess water and then you can spray whatever else you need to get that perfect offroad track conditions/prep for racing. I used to be a helper at a motocross track in my younger days so it does kinda work the same way but on a smaller scale lol

Night of the living Losi's!!! This video is proof that miracles exist. Did Medic let a monsoon of rain ruin the parade known as the BiG DiRTY? Hell no, his RC community came together and made the track a thing of pure beauty. I know this video probably doesn't do justice for showing what it's like to actually be there but it sure comes pretty close. I can almost taste the grit of mud in my mouth after watching this. The Ariel footage was the icing on the cake. The only sad part is knowing I have to wait a whole year until the next running of the BiG DiRTY. Thanks for sharing these moments Medic :)

Wow!!! How did I miss this awesome track/race ??? There seems to be one jump that none of the trucks can handle! Lol….. Everybody’s truck flips end over end on that one jump! Lol…. I absolutely love this track!!!! If this isn’t scale, then I don’t know what is! 😃

Thank you Sir... yes, we have grown together over the years, of course! It is important to us as a family, and event host to ensure that our guests were well taken care of. There are no fee's to attend, no fee's for food or drink.. no fees at all. Just come and have a good time at the ranch over a few days of racing. Those were great days.. and Im glad we were able to capture them on video for all to see. Thank you

Love the racing…I raced 1/8th scale truggies and buggies (nitro) until all of the hobby stores closed within 200 miles and every track disappeared as well. This is reminiscent of IROC … closely matched vehicles testing drivers. 😎🤘🤘🤘

Well The BIG DIRTY 2015 was AWESOME ! I really enjoyed watching your video, All the Hard Work You your Wife and Friends put in all came together in the end Great. After watching your Great channel this year and seeing the 5th scale footage I have to say Thanks Medic you inspired me to invest in a 5th scale and I am now currently paying off a New LOSI 5IVE-T with AVC for myself (Woooooo !)
