Army hospital induced during covid and didn’t even give bishop score. Just crazy. And broke my water without my baby being fully engaged. Im just shook. Knowledge is power.
Loved this video. My exam stressed the fact that a score above 8 ( the example was 11) was a good score for labor induction. A score under 6 was not a good candidate for labor induction (the exam question has 3).
You are always amazing ❤️❤️. Thank you for the great effort and help that you share with all students around the world. God bless you my dear no words are enough for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Wish you all the best in your career and life.
Hi I’m confused on the process of an induction.. so I had clinicals where my laboring patient was only at 40 weeks but her doctor wanted her to get induced. Would you not wait a bit longer to recommend induction if she didnt have any health problems? Also she came in at 3am and at 5am had artificial rupture of the membrane. Would it make sense that she was not in labor but was told to come in the middle of the night for an induction?
The bishop scoring is 0-3 points for all except cervical consistency and position which are 0-2. You had said position and station, which threw me off. Does anybody know if that happens ever? So far these videos have been very helpful but I worry about using an outside source if the info isn't 100%. Not trying to be annoying, just want to make sure we all survive nursing school lol Thank you for all your helpful videos!!
I am a medical student and I find your videos SO helpful and clear. I love your explanations! Thank you so much :)
