Hi from southern New Zealand 👋 summer here in upsidedown land😂 interesting support layout. I use false floors made with farm treated timber for the ground contact and sit my hives on that but we don't have termites in southern New Zealand, only damp ground to worry about. Is the number on the front of your hives your beekeeper registration number? In New Zealand we have to mark each of our hives with our registration number and ive never seen numbers on the front of north American bee hives before
The state of Florida requires every beekeeper to register their hives. If a state inspector comes around and you don't have your registration number on there they can call it abandoned. Termites are a big issue in my area. These 4x4's are treated but I still like to keep them off the ground. Thanks for watching.
👋😁
I gotta do mine
@@davidrespress01 have you seen how cold it’s suppose to get late next week?
