Your videos are some of the best on UA-cam. You get the point across and make it interesting, as I said before. I enjoy watching your videos from start to finish.

It’s like watching a Palagi guy married to a samoan woman thinking he knows about the Samoa culture, but never been to Samoa. There’s a guy out there on UA-cam that does that

1:29 it sounds like she says "te ika ni bong" which I believe translates to "the fish of night." Im from an island outside Chuuk lagoon in Micronesia. We have a fish called "teikenepek." If you eat too much of it, it will cause a laxative effect lol. Anyways the name comes from Kiribati language "te ika ni beka" meaning "the fish of poop." Another one is the moray eel we call "turapon." It's origin is from Kiribati "te rabono" which I believe they use for eels in general (I could be wrong). We have clans that originated from Kiribati so there are things that we get from them. Also, these people's mannerisms are just like my people. For example, the girl at 2:15. The way she answers "yes" is by raising her eyebrows.

I arranged these stays simply by walking up and asking them in person.

You must be rich Palagi to be able to travel to all these places…

    • @martylutje6951

The store you called a convenient store is called a bush store. Like in Samoa. It’s amazing that you travel to these places and don’t seem to understand. I would think that before you traveled to these places that you would educate yourself? Not being disrespectful but bro…

No, it only costs me $43/day to travel. Anyone can travel.

@@JaysWorldTravels you have to be joking. Airfare alone cost more than that to the places you are traveling to. How can you have a full time job and afford to take that much time off work to travel around? Either you hit a jackpot on some lottery ticket, inherited some money or your parents are paying your way. It cost my family of 5 to fly to Western Samoa over 10 grand round trip not including hotel, car rental and food. Be real n honest🙄

It’s a cool vid but next pls be more respectful. It doesn’t seem like you asked to record these people before having a camera in their faces. Also it’s really rude to record people in their houses, regardless if the door is open or not. I don’t think everyone would be excited to see themselves sleeping in a video with thousands of viewers.

    • @JaysWorldTravels

Give me a break, this guy is the most respectful human being I've ever seen in my life. Im almost positive he didn't just shove a camera into people's faces, I'm sure he asked and or made them aware of filming before he whipped the camera out but we just don't see that part in the video. It would be pretty boring and repetitive to hear Jason asking on film for the consent of the 400 different people he filmed in this video, nor would we have time for that let alone the interest to see it. We can tell that Jason is a respectful man from the kind response he gave to your comment, so I'd say he's proven himself well respectful enough
