The irony of last week where Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith from Matchroom calling DDD a quitter and now begging for a rematch.
they are not begging, it's in the contract. much respect to Dubios though he was exceptional, I don't think AJ will win the immediate rematch because despite his mistakes Dubios was so dangerous and now he is very confident

@@graphicballads There is NO rematch clause with AJ as Eddie clearly mentioned to Sky Sports boxing. AJ has one fight left with Riyadh Season but no rematch clause with Dubois. I'm not sure why Warren is saying that...perhaps they have a rematch clause with Riyadh Season too? If so, it will be Turki's call it seems.
Fact is AJerk chicken been carrying heavyweight boxing sooo long his back gone that’s why he was on floor all time in fight!
Frank is a lot more classy in victory than defeat, which is just as well as his stable of fighters have rolled over Eddie’s recently!

I think he liked AJ. For him to put up big shows, he wants someone with a big fan following. A losing Joshua is not good news and DDD ain't really as big a crowd-puller nor can he engage with media effectively. Fury's also lost so for him, it is bad business.

Excellent interview. Frank has an enviable heavyweight stable at the moment with Fury, Dubois and Itauma. Dubois had an awesome fight with his footwork negating AJ’s reach advantage and his jab, hand speed and punch power doing the rest. Difficult to see a rematch changing the result. Personally I would prefer to see Dubois fight Parker followed by a unification fight if he beats Parker.

Full respect to Dubois. He overcame all that criticism for quitting, which was justified at the time and has turned into a beast of a heavyweight. He has improved at a frightening rate and after watching how easy he handled a tough pressure fighter like Miller then Hrgovic, I had him beating AJ comfortably going into this.

I see the future British heavyweight world champion as Martin Bakolie. He has great hand speed, and packs a punch, though he still needs to work on stamina,head movement and defense.
A rematch would be a good option too between AJ and Dubois.

Rematch for January at Wembley. Another near 100k filling up Wembley. I would like to see it. Joshua with his hands up, mixed with clever defence and attack. He can avenge this defeat. Get rid of Eddie Hearn. He has taken the fire out of Joshua.

Why does Joshua has a rematch clause?? He isn't a belt holder. Challengers don't decide on rematches and Joshua now has to realise he's not in a place to demand anything....
I get it's all about money but you can't keep changing rules of boxing and turning boxing in a series of movie sequels no one wants.......
Personally I think Dubois despatches joshua even quicker a 2nd time because it's clear Joshua hasn't got a chin to stand up to even glancing blows from Dubois. If Dubois wants to make a big bag of cash beating up Joshua again fair enough, but that should be his choice as champion, not Joshuas.
When youre as bigger draw as AJ, you can pretty much do what you like. Anyone else would be completely forgotten about after that performance yet they will still be trying to find ways to shoehorn him into an undisputed fight.

AJ will get battered again. Nice little confidence builder for Dubois before facing Usyk or Fury. Most likely Usyk, but I still hold out hope Fury has a couple vintage performances left in him, the record always looks better with a loss being avenged. Going by Ngannou and the way he gassed out against Usyk, I don't think that's the case.
Id like to see Frank go into fights one after the other!! Dan's body isnt getting to recover between fights. Frank needs to be opening his cheque book not exploiting a young guy and lining his own pockets!!
