Marty has now become the preeminent Heralder of Country music. He was once a fan, now he's the leader of a movement to keep country traditional and listenable.
Ms Mavis Staples. This woman is so legendary it was her that Michael Jackson mimicked when he sang "Shamone". Thanks MJ for showing me who Mavis was. Lucky me! ✌️😁💕
Stinson is a very underrated drummer, and IMO he's one of the best drummers in the country music genre. Not sure who the other musicians are in this performance (I think the percussionist could be Terry McMillan, def looks like him) but I'm assuming that it's Marty Stuart's backing band, I don't know who the band members were at the time (other than drummer Harry Stinson) and it looks (and sounds) like there are two keyboard players; one on piano, the other on organ. On the original studio version however, I know that the musicians included Don Potter on acoustic guitar, Reggie Young on electric guitar, Willie Weeks on bass, Robby Turner on steel guitar, Kenny Aronoff on drums, Barry Beckett on piano and Steve Nathan on organ. This is based on the Rhythm, Country And Blues liner notes.
Harry also is a great harmony singer. You can see it if you watch videos of Marty's tv show. But here he's really got his groove on. He's pretty much dancing as he drums. He must love R&B.

Quit taking clips and acting like you own the clip and putting your logo over the clip
I prefer the Aussie version of this song with Jimmy Barnes.
THAT'S, YOUR CHOICE.
