It’s this aspect of your mechanical life I find most interesting! More so than vehicles stuck in sand!
Totally agree. More wrenching, less sand.
More Sprite Please
More Sprite action please and definitely more old car videos 👍
Awesome, are you able to back flush the block? With all that crud in the pump it might be an idea. It'll be neat to see this one running.
Great work.
Always interested in the Sprites!
i know i wouldn't get a decent night's sleep until i found some way to give that cooling system a thorough flushing. my god what a mess!
great stuff thanks
Sir. I find these videos on your smaller older sports cars very very interesting. Seeing how you solve the problems and install the new parts is informative and fun to see. Also, your explanations are useful. How in the world did you learn all this??
I’m contemplating joining the local MGB club here, and seeing these videos encourages me/us.
I don’t enjoy watching the mud derbies and wreckers, etc.
Can’t wait to see more of this car!
I would love to see more on the 6 sprites you bought, you make it seem all so easy👍👍
After seeing that munge in the water pump, I'd have the head off to check the passages in the head and block. Also, looking at the state of that generator you might want to think about an alternator conversion.
Nice video. Someday you will do the blue mini truck.
Just got a notification that some of the parts I need finally shipped!
Love the Sprites
Sprite !!!
Love it.
More sprits and less shorts please 🙏
What are the plans for this Sprite?
Steve said it will be for sale. I would send him an email if you are interested in buying it. 👍
My favorite videos from you are like this one where you fix these old cars. Amazing skills. Hope to see more.
me too. for some reason i find his straight-forward no frillls, matter-of-fact commentary very refreshing. none of that fake, high powered, over-the-top, youtube style banter that they all feel is so necessary.
like Joe Friday used to say, "..just the facts ma'am..".
Keep on working on this little gem!
It was worth cleaning the old water pump just to see what it was like but sadly it was no good to keep as 'just in case' spare. Those parts are fairly easy to replace once you have freed up the old ones but I am glad you pointed out the 'pit falls' of replacing that hose. All great work Steve, I will look forward to the next episode on the barn sprite 3. 👍👍
A coolant flush is definitely in order judging by the gunk in the head.
This really makes me wish I were out in the garage fooling around with an old sports car. Feels like spring!
There's no such thing as too much of this kind of thing!
Steve this is my favorite style of video that you make! Keep ‘em coming 🎉
Yes that car is cool Peace out
Keep 'em coming! 🙂
Good to see you start with important stuff first...bonnet badge. More Sprite pls.
😄
Are any of your cars for sale….if so contact me..I drove mgs in the 70s also worked at a British car shop for 6 years
Would love to own a MG or Sprite again
This one will be for sale when I am done, send me an email to get on the list.
Excellent video Steve :) also yes nice more videos on this Sprite car please and thank you! Very nice car for sure 👍 👌 👏 😀!
More fun with 'cheap and cheerful' British design!!!
Great video. Do you make house calls? 😂
😀
Yes!, more videos on this car!
If you use a bending spring and a heat gun on straight hose pretty good bends can be formed into the hose
Did you end up selling this Sprite? More videos like this please!!! Thanks Steve!! Keep up the great work you do fixing and making these videos! This is one of my favorite channels!
Not yet send me an email and I will put you on the list of interested people.
In most states signal lights must be amber or red
Never red in front. You have the option to install an amber coated bulb for use with a clear lens.
Morning Steve, since you have Sprites, Midgets etc, I thought it would be a great video to do comparative test between one of those and you Fiat 850 convertible. Look forward to the test. Diego Volonta
