- June 18, 1961. In a small village in Northern Spain, San Sebastián de Garabandal, four girls, Conchita, Jacinta, Mari Loli, and Mari Cruz, claim that St. Michael the Archangel has just appeared to them. A few days later, on July 2, 1961 they receive a visit from Our Lady of Mount Carmel. After this first encounter, there are more than two thousand visits from this heavenly Lady. The village’s parish priest, Fr. Valentín, and the Civil Guard brigadier, Mr. Juan Álvarez Seco, suddenly become protagonists in an overwhelming event. They must struggle to find where the truth lies, while confronting a perplexed hierarchy and facing an ever growing multitude of people who arrive at the village in the search of answers.

I converted 3 years ago, during my battle to convert Padre Pio pop up every where. I mean every where, I watch UA-cam, reading something, going to church there's always story about him. I feel like he was following me, making sure I follow Christ. Never new anything about him before, He lead me to Christ he always lead me to Christ. He became my favorite saint, so when he said Garabandal real I believed him.

I also believe, Our Lady truly appeared in Garabandal! There have been innumerable miracles there, not mentioned in the movie. My family and I visited there on pilgrimage. It was so beautiful and there is a supernatural feeling of peace and holiness there. I hope someday they will build a beautiful shrine there in honor of Our Lady of Mt Carmel or Garabandal and St Michael!

Thank you for this. Very well done. It helps me to understand a little of what they went through - the girls, the faithful who believed. I didn't realize that Mother Mary had visited them so many times. I was born in April 1961, the same year Our Blessed Mother visited the children. It's nice to know she was seeing these girls during the first four years of my life on earth. Wonderful.

SAINT Bernadette of Lourdes faced fierce ongoing interrogation by those high up .She was the only one to withstand such pressure and scepticism. It pains me to see how much saints like her go through in getting the church to accept what they have seen. I went to a charismatic church recently and it was as if Mary never existed to them. Open hearts and open minds are what my perpetual prayer is for humanity. It is as if those in power have such scepticism about ordinary simple people. God bless all children who have experienced seeing apparitions of the divine ones . They need our constant prayers. Children have the most beautiful loving open hearts . It is a beautiful film based on facts but the 3 future Prophecies were not included in the film. Also, there were many other important witnesses that were not included in the film. Even the great announcements of Saint Padre Pio about the events of Garabandal and Joey Lomangino were not included. Even the death of Father Andreu was not included.
Is Father Andreu, the one who had a heart attack of joy after seeing Virgin Mary with the seers!
When producing a film, choices must be made. Only so much can be covered in the 90 minutes allotted to most films. Each minute is expensive. Budgets are limited. And so when telling a true story, that story must be streamlined to fit the format and budget.

As I explained in my previous comments, many facts and messages about future prophecies were eliminated in this film. And this does not make any sense because the events of Garabandal are a true story and before the great 3 future events will occur it is not finished yet. I prefer if it were produced the whole story of Garabandal without removing the future important events that may occur in Garabandal. Even the important role of Saint Padre Pio, Joey Lomangino, and Father Andreu the Jesuit Priest who saw Our Lady in Garabandal were eliminated.

Seeing "presences from Heaven - Virgin Mary, and Angels" can be quite overwhelming, but how the appointed persons in that committee and how those high positioned people (Priests, reps of Bishops, Doctors, etc.) dealt with Garabandal prove human's lack of faith and wrong doings. How can these appointed people twist Garabandal events, I just can not conceive that. I am not sure why Virgin Mary did not secure and provide help to the seers so such an important event be taken seriously. I never knew Conchitof Garabandal denied seeing the vision.

When I was younger I was skeptical but having read much more I do believe these were authentic. Padre Pio believed in the veracity and that's enough for me. We will know definitively in the next decade or two since the permanent sign must come before the death of Conchita.

That's not true. Mary Cruz was pressured very much by her parents to deny the apparitions. We don't know what they might have said to her. But more recently, I believe she gave an interview and did not deny them.
