Someone has to be liable for the photos not representing what you purchased!
That’s what I was thinking. Especially since they dumped everything in the backyard.
The auction listing for the house had no photos, rather those photos were from a previous listing, and they were assuming that the house would look the same now.
The auctioneer said the house was sold “As Is”. That means no one is liable for the current condition.
@@heathersmith8549, I understand what you are expressing. I thought there were photos presented ahead of purchase.
Sold "As Is"
What I really liked and admired is that Tarek did not get side tracked by emotions when they discovered the stripped house. They did their best, the house turned out beautifully and they were rewarded for it. 👏👏👏👏💞
He always does a great job on every home they take on .
"I want this house" 🥺 says the lady. 😅
I hope she got it.
lets be honest they were gonna tear down all that kitchen stuff and flooring anyway
exactly! hahaha
100% they saved money with it gutted. Drama didn’t add up
They were essentially screwed, almost as if someone was angry they got the house. Yet they came out well ahead. I give them such credit on a job very well done.
I think it may be that last guy at the auction who gave them such a nasty look, twice.
One of my favorite houses they flipped
The looks she keeps giving is cracking me up 🤣
I live for Christina’s face expressions 😂😂😂
Tarek, your advice on bidding was very helpful. It's helped me think smarter in Final fantasy 9.
Love seeing these early episodes!
I love the old ones. Christina is actually pretty, with a more natural look
After renovating the house every room was designed well and the bathroom was beautiful.
The bid was so badly acted. Come on hahaha
Yes so cringe 😂
I miss this show.
Reminds me of that movie where they said they were taking it with them
Moving with Richard Pryor
Sounds like seller did it to blow their budget
I couldn't find anything I didn't like about the reno except the price!
First thing I would check is roofing and subfloors~ in my humble opinion.
I wish they put double hung Wunderlich windows in that look like wood Windows but they're PCV would be a double glazing would be amazing other than these sliders
That's a dope house.
Very nice flip.
$117,000 👌
Why Do You Paint The Out Side Of The Houses, Such Dark Colors???
The Sun Is To Strong Out There
They usually are always gutting the houses they buy anyways. So the overdramatics is a bit much. lol
I thought exactly the same
I think this episode is old enough that they didn't totally gut back then.
They were amazing flipping together. No wonder Heather is so insecure about the talented Christina!
Love dit. Baie mooi. 💕🇿🇦
So fake. They did the demo then acted like they found it stripped.
Just to add the some drama they have gutted the house🤣. Acting needs to be improved...
What happens to the blue kitchen cabinets?
That blue was just a protective layer of plastic over the white shiny cabinets. It protects the cabinets during shipping and installation.
@@casuallymegp oh. Thank you ms Hamlin.
I don’t get this one why don’t they file a law suit for fraud. That’s what I’d do
Buyer beware people. You buy sight unseen, you deserve what you get.
People on these shows are such bad actors too.
well yeah, it is all scripted. I don't watch it for the acting
I just read the show's official description, and its main purpose is to educated people (that plan on flipping a house) all things that can go wrong in the process. That's the reason why they do/act those "bad decisions" to make viewers aware of all the things that can happen... Keeping that in mind, a lot of things they did on the show now makes sense to me as well xD
How phony. It woudlbe a fraud to sell like this after the pictures of the house with cabinets and flooring.
The pictures were from an old listing and they were just assuming it still look the same.
Probably the most staged auction ever
❤
This show is so staged. They should just leave out the drama. It’s so ridiculous and obvious!
Wow, I would hate to buy a flipped home, they put in the cheapest material with the least minimum of thought. This house looks cheap and plastic. Though it looks much better than the way it looked.
😢😢😢
Buyer beware......
How is that ok and legal .Can't they get their money back r something like that ? That just doesn't seem fair to anyone .What kind of jerks would sell a house that's not the house it was supposed to be and I feel bad for them .
These are houses the owners lost in foreclosure ... the lender is selling it.
Finding sabotage and missing appliances is part of the risks of being a flipper. You HAVE to have a hefty contingency fund to cover this stuff - their "budget" is what they plan to spend, they have enough (despite the dramatic scripting) to cover the "Oh CRAP there's water damage). And if you take a loss on a house, it's part of the business.
I've found water lines filled with caulk, water pipes hacksawed to cause leaks, and even a shower drain filled with cement.
That was an incredibly malicious thing to do, gutting the whole house and dumping everything in the back yard. At first I thought that the owners tried to make some additional money by selling what they could nut no, they made the huge effort to ruin everything and then take it outside.
Whoever you are, people, you are disgusting.
it was staged.
@@michellejalbert-deen1329 If it was, that was a vile idea.
Could this episode be ANY MOE SCRIPTED???!!!! That was so PAINFUL to watch that I stopped it durning that RIDICULIOUS start! BELCH>>>SOOOOO DUMB!!
Old video...
They all are
HGTV reruns everything...for years.
These old shows had so much poorly acted drama. The auction is so obviously over-acid. Then they do a demo and pretend the house was stripped. Silly. I am glad they started leaving out the drama in later shows.
so staged and phony.
$35k isn't a lot of profit, is it? Maybe you can get some back of the photos being misrepresented
$117k profit
$35k was their closing cost.
Yeah exactly it wasn't even halfway believable soooo fake, phoney,😢
