My GTO has one of those taillight connecting pins made of metal, and the plastic part is known for breaking. The Porsche one looks a little beefier, though. Pretty rad looking merch!
I think the factory hitch was not only the best way to go, it was probably the only way to go. I can't see any "universal fit" hitches working here.

Here in the Caribbean ya would just a strong piece of metal Bar weld that an the tow hook to the vehicle get a piece of card box write on tow with marker on it in big letters put that on the back of the trailer an ya good to go 🥃🥃🥃 . Anyone sees you towing your trailer around they just give you some room !!!!
