Mine as well not even play DAK after the nerfs when wehr is now superior in pretty much every aspect. At least i can afford a tank when i am winning as wehr unlike DAK who cant afford a tank if they’re winning or not.
DAK is still really good. The next battlegroup goes over a tank that has the potential to overrun the enemy (and yes, it's Italian).
I have won many games by shock and awe by using the 2 light flame tanks. It just comes down to micro. Yea the enemy has bazooka infantry and AT gun infantry section, but why would you charge tanks in to fog of war anyway? They can kill my tanks, but i can absolutely also kill their infantry.
I'm glad you use them. I just see them so rarely it's hard to gauge how the community as a whole uses them.
@@GreyshotProductions well i think it comes down to a few things. truly, getting the guastatori is useful when you get them, but also later. the light tanks are good when you get them, but not later. So there is more value in the guastatori, thats true.
Still, i usually get a large edge (if i dont F up) when i play the two light tanks that put me in a very good position and my enemy in a bad one, that it tends to make up for their lack of usage in the later stages of the game.
But they are a gamble. Luckily they are not expensive.
why aren’t the italians their own faction?
there’s dozens of italian equipment more than this that would make them stand alone in their own feet like the Semovente 90’s their 90mm field guns, and so much more, roses them just thrown into the DAK is not only disappointing but down right insulting if they don’t get their own proper italian army faction later on.
Japanese Faction would be nice too
I dub the Guastatori as the italian supersoldiers. Incredibly overpowered against infantry, and even light vehicles.

Guastatori is to expensive for what they offer, DAK is extremely MP starved which means you have to optimize your decisions in regards to what you decide to build. the 400 MP is not worth the cost for fancy ASS grens, especially since they cant assault buildings. I can call a halftrack and ass grens for a fraction of the cost and they fill the same role. Because of this DAK is heavily encouraged to invest the MP you do save into the vehicle tech so that you can add more HP to your DAK vehicles. So Guastatori is a no go for me.
The L6 40's are good because they scale very well with the DAKS vehicle HP upgrades in regards to how cheap they are. (I treat them like a cheap 8 rad that i can get out faster).
Propaganda war is good because the cool down is short so it's almost always ready everytime you need it. Then I go with the shield instead of the arty because propaganda war is going to eat my munis. Or you can go for the mg bunkers with the extra points instead. The shield gives better survivability for weapon teams. Lastly the howitzer is absolute garbage because its to much points to get and it only shoots like 5 shots per salvo that are inaccurate to hell.
Overall id rather go with armored support doctrine, it just scales way better for how DAK is forced to play right now with the manpower costs limiting how you are able to play them.

Yes but the patch doesn't really change how I would unlock this battlegroup.
