In this video we are going to manufacture a 3000w solar panel using Silicon CDs or DVDs. As everyone knows, silicon is used in the manufacture of photovoltaic panels, and we are going to use the double layer of three-dimensional silicon contained in these CDs or DVDs to manufacture the most powerful solar panel in the world. Our solar panel will generate a maximum power of 3000W

Can you make a solar panel out of cd's

Where I come from we point solar panels toward the sun. I noticed you guys aimed it away according to the shadow. Also there are storage batteries in the system because solar panels generally can't provide the amperage to efficiently run devices on their own.

300 volts, and 3000 watts? I doubt it. That would mean each DVD would have 10 amps of current available. Sunlight has about 1000 watts of light energy per square meter max. 2 doors would have an area of about 3 square meters. The 3000 watt claim would imply an efficiency of 100%. Modern Solar panels have an efficiency of around 20%. If this were actually true, satellites would be using this tech. My conclusion, bogus claim.
i think we just need one CD to see if this works. If one CD can produce volt, then i say this is legit. I wish i can find that type of CD now to test this, its quite rare.

Since it is made using a door and is bulky, it would be nice to make it foldable once more. Also, it would be nice to have a link to buy the bulk dvd.

@@domenicolimone7426 Al principio del video hace referencia a un tipo de CD-DVD y efectivamete, no es cualquier disco óptico, Es necesario utilizaqr aquellos que contienen Silicio (Si), que es muy parecido al que usan los paneles solares. Éste creo yo, es la clave. Los discos opticos que tienen este componente se denotan por su color morado. MI duda, además de llevar la prueba que recomienda para validar el disco óptico, es la cantidad de corriente que puede proporcionar un solo disco óptico (CD-DVD) dado que para soportar una carga de 100 watts de potencia, ésta debera ser de al menos 1 ampere.
P.D. Antes de la aparición de este video ya había visto este logro por dos personas: -En un video de nacionalidad española y -con uno de mis alumnos de ingeniería en la universidad en donde trabajo, donde lo demostró con un prototipo.
Mi recomendación personal: - Si quieres comprobar la veracidad de éste invento, simplemente construyelo aunque sea un modelo pequeño.

Sunlight has 1kW to 1 sq.meter. Efficiency of a respectful solar cell available is .33:1.
Door panels add up to 4 sq.meter.
1kW x 4 sq.m x .33 = 1.32kW is not 3kW as it claims to be.
We could be fooled if they clam 1.3kW and not 3kW.

That is easy. You can test that by using Avometer and any DVD .
The solar cell is from semiconductors, which have free electrons when the sun light (photons) hit the electrons that make it move from high power side to low power side this is potential (voltage) and electrons move called Current.
In DVD, nothing from that happens .

А смысл измерять. Автор заявляет 4кВт при напряжении 300V. Ток в цепи должен быть больше 12А. Сечение полосок 0,3кв мм. а должно быть не менее 1 кв.мм по меди. Я уже молчу о более 400 контактов приклеенных соплями.

Wow un pannello fotovoltaico che rende almeno il 150% il sole irradia circa 1 kw per metro quadro, tu con il tuo ne raccogli almeno 1,5 kw , se non è un miracolo questo ne raccogli di più di quello che arriva dal sole. E poi stai usando un variatore di frequenza per motori assincroni, non è neanche un inverter dedicato, se non ti tj rientrano con le visualizazioni, sta stronzata ti sarà costata un patrimonio.
