When an old guy raises HUGE from EP, you reraise and he reraises, you f'ing fold your Queens He's not some GTO whizkid going ham with A5 s00ted cuz "blockers" or "removal" This is classic exploitable Old Man Coffee
For the record I work on the livestream in this room and commentate almost all non Next Gen streams. Regis is 100% the most splashiest “old” man I have ever seen. I play with him often in 1/2 and 2/5. He can win big or punt big.
I would like to know how did you guys go from playing 1/2 with $100 buy in and in less than one year you are playing these big stakes, is you tube paying you guys that much? How the F
We stuck with the rules of bankroll management, keeping at least 20 buys for whatever stakes we were playing, and slowly built up a bankroll and we’re able to move from 1/2 to 2/5 and began playing deeper and deeper!
You can really tell Rosey doesn’t have a great understanding of poker. A linear 3 bet range does not have 98off in it. J10ss, 56ss, 88 etc fall into that. 98off is such a bad hand you just fold
What you just said makes a TON of sense man! I have a home game local in Arizona, I'd love to fly you out if you want to play! Although you sound like you definitely know what you're doing so take it easy on us!
I understand it’s a tough night for Frankie but why would you just check call flop and turn with A7ss? a J hits you have dummy end of the straight nd a spade comes your bet is gonna look strong that non flush hands are gonna fold, I would definitely had raised to about 3/4 of the pot on the flop to get drawing hands out or to commit their stack on a weak draw
We had a 30k+ stack and another guy with over 20k here in the 1/2/5 PLO Streets at The Lodge in Austin, and it's match the stack (normal buyin is up to 1k) Absolute sickos
It's lame and obnoxious, just trying to bully all the smaller stacks because even if one of them quintuples up they're still easily covered It's like the dudes in the lime green Dodges basically screaming PAY ATTENTION TO ME!
There's no cap, nothing wrong with it. Pretty sure the young kid only put $20k on the table just so that he could have a good chance of winning a big pot from the $40k stack.
@@ostentatioussavant8215 Would you feel the same if someone else sat down with a million at that table? And then Oprah shows up and sits with $360 million, etc. At some point it has to be a bit too much I would think.
@@PokerJeezus In general, I welcome people to put as much money as they want on the table and splash around with it. Really, this is just a question of bankroll, and if you are properly rolled for a level, there's really no amount of money one can put on the table that will take you off your game. Effective stack is what matters. So if you're comfortable playing with a $1k stack (ie willing to get it in light) then a $40k stack can't push you around. The issue would really arise if you took that $1k stack, and ran it up to say $8k, then you may be taken out of your comfort zone. If that's the case, then you should probably get up, but that's not really a bad problem to have. Big stack poker is really valuable in tournaments but is only valuable in cash games if your opponents are not properly rolled.
@@ostentatioussavant8215 the issue becomes that you're forcing people to play a hit n run game if you're covering stacks so much even a triple up won't catch them up to the big stack It's extremely difficult to beat deep pockets that can afford to 30/70 for infinity until you're broke
If you guys want to survive at these higher stakes, against better players, you’ll need to learn to fold JJ in that spot and QQ in that other hand. Poor play throughout this video across the board.
Why not just make two blogs? You guys ruin the rhythm of the first live stream. Overall great blogs from you guys. It's just my opinion and experience as a viewer.
6:25 Old man raises to 16x pre then 4-bets??? Absolutely no way he's got JJ or AK. This is just an OMC doing OMC things.

😂😂😂
You havent played with Regis guy is a maniac he is way loose and aggressive despite his looks he could definitelly have JJ or AK in that spot

It's a pretty clear flat preflop.
FYI: It's customary to chop the blinds at a casino to beat the rake, but not at a card house.

They got some kind of deal with the place they play at. There is a lot of money in gambling

The games they play in are very soft.

sick flex to sit down with 40k and 20k at a 2/5 game.
