So sad to hear about your dog Amy and hearing you n your family taking about the situation broke my heart as I had to let our two go within 6 months of each other (one had stomach cancer, the other had a slow growing tumour on her spleen). Both were around 10 yrs old (both rescues). So I'm praying your furbaby has a good long life left in him yet, even if that's on meds. Wishing you all the best for the GNR too. I dont think I coukd do it, and im in a powerchair. Ive just been out for the first time on my own and it was the scariest thing ever, especially tackling the busses, even though all the drivers and passengers were really nice and patient with me. I'm exhausted n just glad to be home. Hopefully we might bump into each other at the metrocentre sometime, it would be nice to meet you (and maybe Bob too) in person and say Hi. Sending love n hugs to you n your furboy. ❤️🐾🙂
I hope he feels better and has his symptoms managed soon. My horse (on my profile pic) has just been diagnosed with Cushing's but luckily we've managed to find the right meds straight awayand he's back to being his very cheeky self.

If he likes blueberries, try putting frozen blueberries in his water or watermelon is another thing you can put in his water. My dogs loves it when they have flavored water. I have husky-wolf dogs and they get really hot all year so I talked to the vet & they suggested freezing fruit for their treats and water. We do it at least once a day.
My dog has cushings disease been awfull for see the change in him such as eating drinking more ect and tired a lot all we can do is give them the best life possible he such a lovely dog bessler is I have a vizzla aswell best breed ever amazing to see how he’s adapted tho Amat asks to love it in your house ❤ we need a house tour soon Amy love your vids hope ur well doing ok xx

Sadly there’s no cure but we hope that we can manage his symptoms and keep him as happy as possible as possible ❤

Have you tried putting some of the water out of a tin of tuna in his water? Saw it on a Facebook video, it's supposed to encourage them to drink.

Have you tried wet food in he is water
You should put some chicken broth, to flavor it and hydrate at the same time
