No speakers, no headset for daily use. I use the Beyer Dynamics DT1990 with the Ant Lion ModMic Uni 2 which works great imo. For watching UA-cam and wanna move around I use my Sony WF-1000XM4 or the JBL Quantum 910
I went in with basic gaming headsets with a mic like the a40s. They weren't bad. Overly bulky though and had tons of hardware issues. Also did a hd650 with a ex7e amp which was pretty good. I hav desktop speakers but those are solely for jamming to some music, imo not good enough for gaming. I use some a2+ speakers, really good for what they are. Now iems is where it's at. I own so many pairs, so many sound so different. I've finally settled on my kinera odins as the best gaming iems I've touched. I use a senheiser 835 with a wave xlr for a mic on a low profile arm. There's companies out ther that make longer cables, (like my bro at gladiator cables, got him up Antonio is the shit)! Good iems with the proper soundstage are a gamechanger.
I use the steelseries Arena 9 speakers. I really like them. They are 5.1 surround sound. I do a lot of FPS and need the directional sound but I would still recommend headphones over speakers for a pure sound quality although the Arena 9 are really close. I got the speakers for specific use case because my dog is epileptic he had a seizure while I had my headphones on and I didn't hear him or see him and felt like a giant a******. I wasn't going to let that happen again. But if you have the pocketbook and need the directional hearing while still being aware of your surroundings I couldn't recommend the arena 9 speakers more... try them out when you get a chance they are the only surround sound computer speakers available ... love your videos keep up the good work
where are the open-backs / closed-backs hi-fi headphones?? like the Sennheiser HD 490, Beyerdynamic DT 1990, DT 770, HarmonicDyne Zeus Elite, FiiO FT1 etc.
