I was born on Tyneside, England. I have a Gaelic surname. Common in Ireland and Scotland. My recent DNA test came back, 50% Irish, 44% Scots and 6% German. Im a Celt. Back in the 90s I was able to trace the Celts thru the Gauls back to a nomadic tribe from Persia/Iran. They spread the Iron Age throughout Europe, and railroad track widths, to this day, are based on their chariot wheel tracks. They invented pad locks.

Our people left Wales and Ireland hundreds of years ago, I have long dreamed of visiting the lands from which we came. Greetings to you too, I'm saving up to make the trip, within two years we plan on taking a flight there.

The year 1989 it was, when I felt strongly drawn to visit Eire, the west coast of beautiful Burren. In 2015 I arrived in the UK and lived in Somerset and Devon (National Park Dartmoor) for 5 yeas.
And now, a circle comes round, it seems, with my choice to visit Ireland, county Down, and explore the ancient history, present in the soil, the earthworks, NewGrange, and the fairy folks in wilderness areas. It's also that after
those 5 years in the UK, I've found the Irish folks more straighforward, with optimism, improvision skills, and whit.
Compared to the more inhibited British folks, punched by scarcity measures, where poverty has increased from 3 million a few years ago, toward 15 million, in the UK. Those conditions don't welcome my presence in the UK now.

I am from Plymouth, Devon and spent much time on Dartmoor as a child. It is still my favourite place, so sacred, it has a unique quality and character, such natural beauty.
I am Serbian and my great grandfather told me about 5000 Irish who held the flank in ww1 in Bulgaria after the battle of Gallipoli and they all died or most fighting the Bulgarians I think. So yeah love the Irish and I done a DNA test and my genetics are the same as most of the Irish. The Serbs and Irish have much in common I realised. Respect
I got slaughtered at work for saying that there’s a ancient grave in Ireland that is of a Egyptian princess. All in good humour I must add. But the truth is as Robert pointed out goes way back. We're essentially the same people. Although our genetic admixture has probably been diluted with Norman and Anglo saxon genetics, then again so probably has the Scottish.

It would crack me up if the real Hebrew or Israelites were actually the Celtic people or something like that. Honestly, with the push lately of it being Black people, it wouldn't surprise me, just like the out of Africa theory is wrong, Mansa Musa being black is wrong, and Hannibal being black is also wrong. We are descended from the original Atlantians as far as I can deduce from both the genetics, huge proportion of RH- Blood, the fact that the Pharos and all the great ancient places around the world with advanced stonework pyramids and Polygonal Masonry, were of All European in appearance EG. Peru, China, Egypt, other parts of South America and some parts of the middle East. They all originally looked like the English, Irish, Welsh, Scots, and the fact that we have the highest amount of matching DNA to this day to the mummies found that are in tact, along with the Scandinavians and parts of Europe in smaller quantities is no coincidence.
In England we also have examples of ALL types of ancient stoneworks found around the world, yet found here in England, just one small island country, along with elongated skulls that have been found around stone henge also that are very similar to the ones found in Egypt.
I don't think it's a coincidence that we the British were the most advanced race in terms of societal advancements, and scientific advancements and discoveries, also with the highest proportion of Blue eyes and Light-Brown/Fair, Blond and Red hair..
I also don't think it's any coincidence that a certain German wanted to conquer Britain in two wars, as he knew his History and knew of our isolated genes being an island and who we were.

If you look celtic genetic maps of Europe, in terms of quantity, England has the most celtic DNA of any country in Europe. It has more than France and Spain; and over 2x more than Ireland, Scotland and Wales combined. It is always funny when these types of video come up as the smaller countries in these isles love their little cottage industry of "We're the most celt". Even funnier if that when you look at the genetic migration around these islands, that England is the bridge, so they're closer to the Irish than the Welsh and Cornish are to the Irish, but those groups act like they're one group.

Albannach ( man of Scotland ) is an AMAZING, earthy , eclectic TRIBAL pipe and drum band from Scotland . Came out of the "ashes" of a band Clann an drumma . The original aspect of this dissolved around 2001-2004. Still kickin butt on pipes & drums like no one else does.
I love them!!! Have seen them live at Scottish festivals several times and have some CDs, even signed ones. That drummer is adorable.
I need to be careful playing it when driving because I start going way too fast. Lol

I was watching this guy on tiktok the other day explain how to wear a traditional kilt- not the skirt kind... But it's one piece of fabric and you pleat it and it reminded me a bit of how sarees are pleated. And also sarees also remind me a lot of how many ancient statues in Rome or Greece appear - if you don't really pay attention to the fabric it's self but just how the outfits appear... I studied and practiced Hinduism for some time and got into all the different tribal ways of wearing sarees and dotis and I wonder if there is a connection there at all.
I am a blue eyed person. So, too, is my father. The theory is that we come from the Caucasus Mountains. When? Who would know? How would they know? DNA? Dad did the DNA test. All his life, he thought he was a German. His grandfather came from Germany, speaking German, wearing German clothes, eating German food. But when Dad's DNA test results came in, he discovered he is 60% English/Irish, only 20% German and the rest Eastern European.
But who trusts these DNA tests? I've seen too many complaints from too many people who took multiple DNA tests and each returned different results.

I'm from sw Ireland. Just by the mountains named the Paps of Danú. Nother Legend has it that Danú was the mother goddess and wife of the Dagda, or the Good God. I've been to Scota's grave, and in the mountains nearby, at the peak lies a ruin of an old Fort reputed to be the home of Curoi mac Dara, head of the munster sí. How such a Fort was built there in prehistory is impossible to imagine.

Celts have the highest rate of haplogroup r1b m269 same as Tut and his male ancestors. Also found in both a Canaanite elite in an Egyptian sarcophagus (who had an amulet with Seti's name on it), and also a Canaanite not buried in a sarcophagus, both found in Tel Shadud. Which is in modern Israel.

The Uileann Pipe is Irish, and Bagpipe Scottish. Also in our mythology we have the story of the Milesians, who came from the Spain regions to settle into Ireland. These could be Phoenicians who settled in Spain and travelled from there to the North of Europe

Looking forward to this one Robert! Being of Irish blood myself I'd love it if you could do some videos on the "Brehon Laws" and ancient Irish Druidry more generally. Irish history in particular, amongst the rest of the Celtic confederation has been under cultural attack for not shy of a thousand years... And that's not even counting the pre-Christian Roman genocide against us after Queen Boudica's infamous assault on the legions. Irish/Celtic history has been hidden even more so than that of the Germanic element of Aryan culture, and I suspect my ancestors held some very important keys and links to our Atlantean past.

I grew up in New Zealand where there is, to this day, a strong Scottish influence - especially on the South Island. I remember many a time as a young child, I would stand by the roadside watching marching bands thundering past. The deep powerful drum beat, and the magical sound of the bagpipes is hard to describe - you need to experience it to know it. That sound went right through my body way back then, and it still moves me now.

Im Celtic, Spanish and Basque. Celtic side is Scottish and Wales. Also, my Spanish side comes from Northern Spain including Galicia. On my true ancestry website they trace me back to the Gauls and other ancient Celtic tribes.

In fact I think he actually told us that the King of England believes he sits on the stone of destiny which came from Dannite migration to Scotland and Ireland. Interesting stuff. I also would assume he will come to the cinclussion that the westward migration had to meet up with the peoples from Amurica who mined the Michigan copper. Well technically not Welsh, but probably brythonic celtic tribes, rather than gaelic celtic tribes although they are just 2 strands of the same lineage and in Scotland during the dark ages the Gaels and the picts eventually came together and formed the kingdom of alba!
