Rishi Sunak might be forced to step down before an election in part because of failure on the Stop the Boats scheme, Tim Montgomerie tells #timesradio

Not just Sunak though is it Tim... 15 years of BS
Well said ❤❤❤
I see that Times Radio hasn't changed its Tory bias yet....Silly me, what did I expect....
@@jeffdingle9677you just listened to ten minutes of a conservative criticizing the Tories .... It's a conservative centre right leaning broadsheet. Get a grip !
Only Rishi was politically incompetent. None of the other Tories were aware that he was talking nonsense
4 election were the Tories promised to reduce mass migration. It's 700,000. All of the Tories were against it but forgot to say anything. They remember now an election looms.
@@jeffdingle9677everyone has biases. Even you
what sunk Rishi is his refusal to see that letting billionaires double their wealth every few years whilst millions are too broke to feed their children properly is sick
Jackpot, well done ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exactly but that is what unchecked capitalism will always do
@@stevec6427 well instructed point. Brilliant ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏👁👁👁
Check out the corrupt filth that is the Teesworks scandal & he gave a peerage to the mayor behind it all !
Wait, it took him a year to figure out that promising to "stop" the boats was an idiot pledge? Not sure I'm going to listen to someone who's political acumen is that slow.
I've not heard of this Tim before but the more I hear him on here the more I realise why, he's an idiot Tory using some obvious facts and then just nonsense.
Not slow nonexistent.
If Mr Sunak can’t do the job he should be replaced his pledge is to protect our borders what does he get paid for pu
Unfortunately, it's because people like Tim Montgomery keeps getting air time that we keep having these puppets in government positions in the first place!
Jeez, I despise the presenter for praising sunak - such a load of pathetic pro tory propaganda.
What do you expect from the Tory Times of London!? Tim M. Is a big Tory, but even he knows it's all gone wrong for them, and Sunak is useless. He's also not a good man as Tim likes to say! He's a very greedy liar!! What's good about that!?

Pledges are easy. Competent government is not
Inflation is 3.4%
@@marystringfellow8185 It is if you exclude food and fuel inflation. Inflation was always going to fall and due to nothing this government has done.
@@marystringfellow8185 and that is still twice it was when sunak took over.
HS2 is a way of helping themselves to Public Funds. They’ve had 14yrs to start training our own, never any intention. They have been helped all the way, in their racketeering by Murdoch mogul media, and all the Tim’s on his payroll.
I very much doubt that neither Sunak nor any previous Tory government has had in mind to get a handle on either legal or illegal immigration to the UK. If they had, the topic would not be discussed today. Then the problem was solved.
No government wants to reduce legal migration, because the economy depends on it. Illegal migration is pretty much an insoluble problem, but I don't think it has a great impact on the quality of our lives.
We need Enoch Powell.
Rishi Sunak a good man? He is evil.
You dont know what he stands for? Making his and his wife's family richer at all costs (to the UK and the climate/world)
Tax justice, no corruption and competency will pay for Labour's plan, Timmy.
#toriesoutforageneration
A good man? No, quite the opposite. Sunak is obsessed with increasing his own personal wealth, to the complete exclusion of everything else.
To be fair, he is also obsessed with enriching his family and his mates.
@@DrWhoFanUK Awww, a family man!
Quite right…..and a habitual liar. And now he also wants to bring in a law to criminalise being homeless? Not my idea of a “good man” at all.
@@east-saxonIf found homeless you will be fined. I suspect the fine will be 2500 potatoes or a thousand used trolleys.
He's an absolute incompetent. Perhaps he can read a spreadsheet and do a good Blair vocal impression. But he's a woefully ungifted politician.
It's BROUGHT down not BOUGHT down.
Rhishi is cr@p
He's a below average middle manger promoted well beyond his competence
Rwanda is a complete waste of money
And
Training your own workforce costs money you need to invest in not just the people but infrastructure
Without HS2/3 the current system is overloaded
Fairly shabby Boris yes man imho
in business there are some who are right to lead and others who may be good as a backroom specialist, the latter rarely cut it as a team leader and that incls Sunak...also we only got to see the darker side of him when he got the PM job ...pity he operates like an entitled head prefect ! way out of his political depth
A Rishi Sunak _might_ have got by if everything was functioning well, and all you need was a steady as you go PM.
But we are in *deep* trouble, we don't manufacture anything, we can't build anything, we can't protect our borders and our infrastructure is visibly crumbling. It couldn't get much worse. Oh yes, we're helping to provoke Russia into WW3, si it could easily get _infinitely_ worse.
What we needed was a bold, brave PM ready to make tough decisions. What did we get? Extra maths for older schoolkids, some weird ban on some smokers but not on others, who could be just a few months older and something about disposable vapes.
The Titanic is sinking and the Captain urgently orders the cutlery to be polished. Sunak is a flippin' disaster parachuted in to a top job by Globalists, just like Macron was, from Goldman Sachs, and he'll walk away to a nice job at the World Bank after he's served his purpose of uselessness.
We're done for.
@@CaptainFearless1 It's important to know where your skills lie, there is nothing wrong with a specialist, they are the people who make things work, the engineers, mechanics, electricians etc. They are good people who make the world turn. I've seen a lot who thought they were leaders who made that switch to management and it ruined their career. I know I'm an excellent specialist, my technical knowledge is spot on BUT I also know I'd make a terrible leader so management is not for me
@@stevec6427 - 100%. Companies seem to be obsessed with the idea that if you are good at your job, you should be managing other people but that makes no sense. I've seen so many incredible workers pushed into management positions because they are very good at what they do and they become horrible managers. Some of the best managers I've had couldn't do the job I do. They know enough to be able to provide support when needed but their job is to empower me to do my job well, not to do the job themselves.
Judging by their usual policies and actions I can make an educated guess what they'd do next. They would make it illegal to be sick or disabled.
Already done
In fairness, it was New Labour who brought that in - and Atos.
All the Tories have done, is keep the same system but make it more vindictive and spiteful than it already was.
@@inspectortanzi I’d argue you have a very good point there.
It is tempting to label Sunak as a traitor. However, he is not even British.
No , the Conservative government put the final nail in your election coffin when Truss arrived in number 10. Governments and businesses have been taking the cheapest easiest way of filling vacancies. Instead of investing in training people, which would make people feel valued.
Even toty comintators seem to he growing ever more removed from society as well, Rishi a good man, are you MENTAL MAN IS A DANGER
It's 14 years, especially the last 8 years of putting ideology ahead of the good of the people, incompetence, instability and chaos. The boats saga is just a small part of this

I see that Times Radio hasn't changed its Tory bias yet....Silly me, what did I expect....
If there was a Will to stop the Boats, the boats would be stopped. There is no Will and therefore they will keep coming.
We need to get a new British priminister some body who will stop the immigrants coming in our country and get rid of the ones that are here enoc Powell was right England is infested with them they are making England a black country
The Radio Times and the BBC don't even try to hide their extreme "Left Wing" bias anymore. I love it!

Excellent, very well put ❤❤❤
Tim Gumby. Who gives a 💩 what he thinks.
Mr Nobody....
Starmer can't restart HS2 because the land purchased for it is being sold off again. Tories once again salting the earth.
They were still buying land (from a party donor but that's just coincidence I'm sure) after the project was scrapped
Fishy Wishy Washy Rishi is the football manager giving an interview after his team have lost 12-0 saying "yes , but we had more corners than them".
Oh….and I’ve got a plan.
Don't worry there is 5 minutes of injury time left.
The Tories have made countless pledges over the years, but we are now left with a crumbling nation. None of their pledges have ever been delivered. People have been paying so much for abysmal public services everywhere you look. At a glance, we have insane rent and energy prices, water companies that specialise in sewage production, and health services that now mean people are more likely to die waiting for an ambulance.
"You haven't heard Kier Starmer say he would restart the HS2 project" as Rishi was scorching the earth, selling off the land and cancelling years of progress on paperwork etc to allow it to happen... It was an obvious trap they were hoping he would fall into to say he would restart it.
This guy is high, you should check your sources more carefully
Oh…. I think you’ve missed something?

Membership of the tory party is said to be full of over 65s and very few young people.
Truss me it cant fail.

Times Radio hasn't changed its Tory bias yet....and will never will do with the Murdochs in charge...
Sunak is a caretaker. Time to go.
Making the pledge was not a mistake. The big mistake was not carrying it out. Just like they have failed to do anything about anything. Vote for change, vote Reform.
Isn't it 'brought' ?
He is following the WEF directives
Enthusiastic Tory? Demented, more like be gone one and all of you, no need to turn the light out it's been off for 14 years
They are all puppets! They will replace with another puppet.🙏
Who will lead next? David Cameron has appeared out of nowhere for one reason..
He looks like a person sticking up for conservatives lol get the tories out
He is a tory through and through Tim nice but dim.
Sunak is a WEF plant…..don’t expect anything to change, even when Starmer gets into power.
You are off your head. The biggest mistake sunak made was not calling a may ge. It's only going to get worse in toryland
Tories win, more of a "carry on " film.
Now showing at cinemas near you...The Sunak Ultimatum.
Lol, it's not critics who would say inflation lowering is due to other factors, it's Rishi himself. He argued it wasnt his fault when it went up, so he doesn't get the credit when it goes down. I said when he made that pledge that it would be called out as hypocritical, and here we are.
I’m not sure the environment is a hill to die on Tim, I live in Cornwall and the sewage spill alerts come relentlessly!
Election please we can't afford the Tories anymore.
Politicians routinely announce or promise results they cannot deliver.
You only have to look at Tory manifestos and promises to realise that. Apart from any other issue they don't particularly want to deliver, the civil service don't want to do it and the law is against them, whjich the HoL and Rejoiners won't allow to be changed.
The civil service carry out govt policy decisions. Unless you are conned into believing the tory "the civil service is stopping us" excuse for tory incompetence. And govts pass laws and the courts merely interpret them.
He's history
good thing he has his best friend, and former political editor of the Spectator, James Forsyth to advise him politically...
Rishi let so many in shocking feel sorry for British people
He's a Tory.
Tories lie.
So why is it just him that's wrong?
Rishi Sunak was absolutely right to scrap a key infrastructure project at a point where we've spent tons of money, buy and get nothing out of it. A polticial genius that Rishi.
A highspeed train between Birmingham and a London suburb is truly money well spent.
Get sunak out before he is targeted by the British people it is now for his own safety
All of this exposure for Tim Montngomerie ... I despair. Why?
He is good for a laugh.
Just letting more of his own kind in
The WEF put Sunak in place. He wasn't supposed to be any good.
All the things Tim Montgomerie used to advocate for,he is now against because in very recent years it`s all gone wrong.
I have been hearing this bull sh. It that British people will not do the sh. It jobs for decades.

I’ll admit, he’s done a great deal for the rich & for his own family
Sunak is just pointless
Reluctantly !!! The P.M is a good man !!! No wonder the Cons / Tory Party are finished...LoL...
We should stop looking at gdp and start looking at GNI.
Vote Reform UK in next election
Is it true Tim inspired the hippie fashion emporium 'I was Monty's Double'?
"There will be fewer lower-skilled migrants and overall numbers will come down"
Tory 2019 manifesto pledge.
They're definitely gaslighting us.
Yeah but that was two prime ministers ago. Great democracy we’ve got ourselves
When climate change starts to really kick in, the immigration we have now will be seen as a trickle.
Just like brexit, vote leave and take control and get your country back. (whatever that means).
The government could indeed reduce legal immigration overnight but it would have to explain which services it’s prepared to let fall over in the short term to achieve this.
🤦
VOTE REFORM UK
Rushi is Sun'k.
Tim's missing the point that Tory voters who have a problem with all types of immigration ARE the problem. A failure to advocate for legal immigration led to Brexit which led to a loss of overseas labour that's pushed the cost of food up, seen waiting lists at hospitals go out the door and down the street and is causing financial crises at numerous universities. The whole debate is tilted towards quashing the 12% of far righters who are polling for Reform. No one in the Reform camp would even think about voting Labour. So why are the Tories not trying to moderate and appeal to the middle ground? It's all the far-right rhetoric that may please friends in the press and the racists in Reform but it is turning off most of the population including increasingly vulnerable sections of our diverse populous. I'm disabled and what the Tories have done to me means I'll never vote for them again.
I think you've confused the words racism and patriotism. I'm guessing your disability isn't physical?
Sunak is he a coal miner?
Rishi as brought the Tories down they should have removed him now it's their fault
People, people! Imagine that you are coming from a country at war, whose family has been killed by the weapons that Britain has sold to the killers and you are the one that Britain has chosen at random to send to Ruwanda. Put yourself in his shoes. These are real people not numbers. Imagine…to have a little compassion…
We're not a charity. If you want to live amongst Afghans go to Afghanistan. Wonderful people I heard. People like you are the sort of housemate in a flatshare who invites randoms into the flat unannounced
Very few tories have compassion

100% with Tim.
Fishy sunak…
I cant even stand his voice he's about as sincere as Tony Blair isn't .
Sunak is the big mistake.
What the heck has the environment got to do with anything? Unfortunately we have a war to fight now.
A kinetic war foisted upon upon you by a hostile nation is unwinnable whilst protecting the environment.
If you can't see how environmental policy has more or less caused conflict in Europe - then there is no hope.
......but then we knew that anyway.
It’s a given the conservatives have lost the support of the people.. we as a nation want them gone..
However the only other party that has a large amount of candidates standing according to you gov is Labour.
So for voters.. it’s the usual choice.. Labour or conservatives, do we REALLY trust Labour as a nation?
There was a time where Cameron preached about change.. remember?
If we really want to send a message to both Labour and conservatives that we are not happy with either of the choices we have.. we all should vote for a small party like greens..
Just for sake of variety.
But we all need to vote for smaller parties as one…
Until then.. it will always be the same two parties that get in and the results at the end of their terms will always be the same.. nothing achieved.
Basically we don’t have the guts to see real change through as a nation.. want change.. vote the smaller parties.. that’s what I say anyway
I agree with you 💯 I been a Labour supporters and voter for 40 not no more think neither is really working for the benefit of the country ,just lip service to appease the peasant.
The only way you get change is to alter the voting system. Fpp is undemocratic. P R is needed otherwise voting becomes picking the least worse between the main two or to vote tactically to keep out the party you don't want
Some great points, well done ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Look folks.. even the Aussies can do a better job of explaining the situation 😂
Funny as but so true.. language is off a bit so take with pinch of salt.. funny as..

Nah it's all good - split the vote and make Labour's margin even larger! At this rate, the Tories won't even by the main opposition.
That’s what you think. How can you say that! You are deliberately spoiling his name. You are damaging Tory party name
Johnson, Truss and Sunak have destroyed the tory name. Useless P M after useless P M.
Daily Express Politics has stated that, Labour will grant millions of citizenships to EUROPEANS , that is why we need to vote Reform to get them lots of seats ,so they can hold Labour’s feet to the fire,so they cannot dump more immigrants into our country without us having a say, no democracy anymore,
Fancy believing what the daily Express tells you…😂
Before Brexit immigrants were mainly European. Now it's non Europeans.
@@JoeWedgwood-ik9zo well I did not say I believed but we will soon find out won’t we mate,
Yes, and the Daily Express is always a source of truth and accuracy, isn't it?
What are the facts - the facts that Reform and the Tories won't tell you?
The fertility rate has been below 2.1 for decades. In other words each generation is considerably smaller than the last. This is true throughout the First World. That's why the Tories have encouraged a great deal of immigration, and if Reform ever were in government (!) they would do the same. Their paymasters are the rich business people who need workers, and so the number of workers won't be allowed to decline. Reform and the Tories rely on their rich backers, and if they don't do what they are told, they will collapse financially.
So you're advocating a party run by the rich (it's actually a registered business) that will be dictated to by the rich. They won't be falling over themselves to help you.
The workforce in the country used to be big enough to cover the costs of the country's dependents - but the elderly and disabled numbers have grown massively (the baby boomers) and the British-born workforce is in fast decline.
This not only means a greater and greater tax burden on ordinary people (of course, we can't ask the rich to contribute, like Farage and Tice, can we?). It also means that there just won't be the care workers, nurses, doctors, surgeons, etc when you need them.
So all parties when in government will have to support immigration. Don't let the Express or Reform lie to you. It literally can't be another way.
The Express sort of overlooked the most important issue, didn't they?
They won’t get one seat, so there’s that
Stop blaming Rishi for everything! My vote is definitely for Rishi and d I have faith in him.
