@@Shigashi84 I think the real reason is, senseis in the USA do not encourage learning the technique both sides. I notice your name is Japanese. I thought the Japanese learn both sides? Suppose my writing arm cannot be used for (say) 6 months. I think I will learn to write with the other hand.
@@PilgrimsProgress7 Sure can learn right and left for all throws. i have a few throws to the left of course. But most of my throws are to the ride side. A korean seoi nage would be ideal in the scenario that you brought up.
