ITA!!! Adam is a gorgeous man, inside and out, and has a once in a generation voice. This woman is crazy.
I loved the visual of Ring of Fire. I loved it and it's what made me stop, look and listen. I like the drama, I like 'the act.' It's who Adam Lambert is, and I like it and I like him.
I LOVE Adam, like nearing worship at ridiculous fan-levels, but at the same time I like hearing people's honest reactions right after his Ring of Fire performance and not with the hindsight of "oh shit he's fabulous". He proved himself, that's what Idol allowed him to do, and saying he's ALWAYS been godly just isn't practical. While i DISAGREE with them, its nice to know that Adam got BETTER with time, it's lovely to hear.
I love these guys from EW , they are not afraid to speak up and call the artists out , the only thing is that it some times means understanding the background of the singer
with Adam , if people understand that he also performed at the Zodiac Show , Upright Cabaret in LA plus did shows during holiday at Burning Man , you would get how much he actually tones down the performances for Idol and tries to make it more mainstream.
Calm down, people. Being an Adam fan doesn't mean you have to lose your sense of humor & proportion. I looove Adam. But I realise it's *impossible* for him to be everybody's cup of tea & I don't think all his performances are perfect & above critique. Just because someone doesn't share your tastes doesn't mean they're bad people or "need a hearing aid". I find Slezak & Baldwin to be honest, witty and funny. At least they recognised Adam's talent even if they weren't sold on his presentation.
Kristen Baldwin, you're hilarious. I wish they still did these videos - they had the pithiest, funniest, most honest reactions to the show, and even though I don't watch American Idol anymore, I would still enjoy watching them talk about it.
Adams motown turned out to be mind blowing, It's really funny to look back to these videos when u guys thought Adam wasn't that amazing and then go to ur interviews with him now where it's like ur a kid in a candy store and Adam is the candy that everyone wants a piece of. Besides homophobs...

Sorry, Ring of Fire was UH-mazing. Made me start watching Idol again (after years of not watching). The vocals were spot-on, and that version of it was so cool. I know that Adam gave credit where to do Dilana (or whatever) but his vocals were better as was his overall take. I was not a fan of Adam's until this song. So sorry Kristen, you're wronger than wrong that Adam deserved to go home before Alexis Grace and her wonky vocals.
That being said, Scott's vocals and choices were crappier than Alexis' so fair point about that, and Sarver sucked as well. So fair point again. But Kristen's hatred of Adam was getting in the way of his actual vocal performance in comparison to Alexis' fairly anemic one.
I totally agree with you on ring of fire. It sure got people talking and I loved it!!! And I LOVE Adam😘😘😘
The trouble I found with Ring of Fire was that everyone is so used to Johnny Cashes version that anything else would sound weird to them. It was country week and even Adam has stated himself is that he can't do country, he's not a country singer and trying to sing a country song the way most do really wouldn't have worked for him vocally so he went with a version that suited his style more. The other thing about it was that it was done so early in the competition that people hadn't yet had the chance to see what kind of performer he really was so for most its was very shocking. After Adam lost to Kris I found it so unjust that I stopped watching the show apart from the episodes where he was a guest star. That unjust win proved to me just how staged these types of reality shows are just for the views at home. In the end I'm glad that Adam didn't win as he has proven that you don't need the grand title to be successful and a star, just look at him now, he's touring with Queen and the experience that he is getting is worth more then some silly staged reality title.

AGREED! God help us if Scott, Megan or Micheal make it anywhere past top 6, or I'll really stop watching. The minute Allison leaves the show, I assure you they will NOT have a winner that can be viably (sp) be marketable to radio listeners. Maybe Adam, but Lil and Danny is going to be just another Ruben(female version) and Taylor. But Idol has continued to shoot themselves in the foot all season, so why should they stop?

@taylorswiftfanzgirl What some perspective from American idol viewers whom spend money texting a reality show:O I've just found this show on You tube, has idol winds down into a dull thud of irrelevance. I shall enjoy watching theses historic pieces of irony re better times on idol when there was a judging panel and I still watched idol occasionally.
